There’s one thing that I keep bringing up every time someone talks about a LEGO Cityscape, the lack of proper Emergency Service sets. Sure we have LEGO City and Friends sets but they tend to be 4+ sets and not derailed enough or brightly coloured and don’t necessarily suit a serious City builders needs.
When perusing LEGO Ideas, I came across this week’s feature, the Health Centre By Interesting_Buildings. A modular building that not only fits in with the current line but also looks great.
The medical center is a three-story building built in a modern style and equipped with the latest technology. – Interesting_Buildings
The build, which currently has 1,135 supporters (at the time of posting) is what most LEGO fans want in some form or another. A realistic Hospital style modular where our Minifigure residents can go when feeling under-the-weather or needing emergency treatment. Having a building of this calibre in ones City would be a great addition to the modular line and would be a good seller for LEGO, it’s what the fans want.
The building itself can be easily connected to other modular structures thanks to the technique parts on the sides, and for ease of play, it can be disassembled into floors. The model consists of 2,730 pieces . – Interesting_Buildings
Each floor comes apart just like other buildings and house a different department within the Health Centre, including a Reception, Doctors office & surgery room and a dentist. Comprising of 2,730 pieces, the building is very detailed and looks the part, Interesting_Buildings have done a wonderful job in recreating something in brick-form, the colour scheme is also great and represents the theme perfectly.
Below are more photos, this time of the interior, which show more details, rooms and scenarios in which Minifigures can be put in.
We would like to wish Interesting_Buildings the best of luck in gaining the required 10k support. If you like the look of this idea and would like to give your support, please use the links below. Registration is free to LEGO Ideas and only takes a minute, so head over there now and do your part!
