FunWhole has had an amazing year, they’ve produced hit after hit and there’s no sign of stopping. The many themes and sets under their belt is astonishing, Town Life, Middle Ages, Cyberpunk and Farm Life to name a few. There is one collection of sets that really hit the spot though and that’s the Old West!

We all love a good Wild West movie, an Outlaw ready to duel or a sharp shooting Cowboy, especially FunWhole. They’ve based a whole theme around the American Frontier and it shows they know what us fans want from a brick-built set. From the chosen buildings and characters to the finer details and architectural traits, the FunWhole Old West series is awesome, yeehaw!

So far in the lineup we have a Saloon, Sheriffs Office, Train Station, Freight Train and a Stagecoach. Most of these are available globally, with the latter dropping very soon. There is also a General Store (pictured above) releasing soon which we have a review copy of, Stu (@brickmcbricksworth) has once again taken this on as he kindly reviewed the others in the theme for us.

Taking a lot of inspiration from movies, games and of course real life, the design of each FunWhole set really captures the look and feel of the Wild West. The wooden architecture and bold colours, the white accents on the shop fronts and the rough terrain. I particularly like the wonky wooden slats on the Saloon roof and and colour scheme of the Sheriff’s office, I may have to purchase them myself.

For anyone that loves a good Western brick set then look no further than FunWhole, they ship internationally and are usually quite speedy. I’ve had many sets from them and I’ve received them within a week, obviously times vary depending on your location and how busy they are.
