Finally we get the official announcement of the new LEGO Harry Potter Diagon Alley (75978) set!

This has got to be one of LEGO’s worst kept secrets to date with all the leaks that have been flying around.

Thankfully LEGO has now given us the go-ahead to share this awesome-looking set with you.

Featured in the Harry Potter movies and the World’s most iconic Wizarding alley, LEGO have done an extraordinary job in recreating it in brick form with a whopping 5,544 pieces!

The buildings that make up the shopping alley are;

• Ollivanders™ Wand Shop
• Scribbulus™ Writing Implements
• Quality Quidditch™ Supplies
• The Daily Prophet™
• Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlor
• Flourish & Blotts™ bookseller
• Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes™.

Measuring just over a meter in length, if you prefer a smaller footprint then you’re in luck as the buildings can be halved and placed back to back, enclosing the interiors in the middle.

The set comes with a total of 14 LEGO Minifigures, including your favourites such us, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Draco, Ginny and adult Molly Weasley, Ollivander, Fred and George (teenage), Gilderoy Lockhart, Lucius Malfoy, Hagrid, Florean Fortescue, and the Daily Prophet photographer.

Diagon Alley™ is one of the most iconic locations in the Wizarding World.
