This week’s LEGO Ideas feature is brought to you by a very creative individual, Brick_Piso89, and their The Ladies Outpost!
The set is based around a lovely looking Castle, complete with three floors. Covering the exterior is a tree on one side accompanied by branches and foliage, a perfect setting for a Castle I think you’ll agree.
Since I was little, the castle theme has always been one of my favorites.It is an outpost completely dedicated to women, fundamental in our modern civilization – Brick_Piso89
As the title suvehsts the Castle is owned and run by Women. The Minifigures come dressed in the armour from a recent CMF (Collectible Minifigure), it has a pink shield and gold crown emblem printed on it, the shileds themseleves have the same design.
There is a lot to look at when viewing the LEGO Ideas submission, with lots of corners, rooms, hidden areas and more. Outside you’ll find a training dummy, a log pile/storage place and a weapons cache.
I particularly like hose the Castle is done, the odd shades for bricks used front he walls creates a nice looking aesthetic, add in the many details and foliage and you have a well rounded set idea. If LEGO would ever make this is a different question, but with the recent release of the Lion Knights Castle set it’s looking likely LEGO are giving the fans what they’ve wanted for quite some time, and rightly so!
The set idea itself it fully polished and could easily be made into a purchasable set, I’d buy it for sure and display it proudly on my shelf.
