Beatrix Potter was an English writer and illustrator who was most famous for her children’s books featuring a well-known rabbit called Peter. She was also a scientist and conservationist and all-round great woman – so Minifigs.me made her into a minifig.

Katherine Johnson was famous for her calculations of orbital mechanics.
Mary Jackson
Mary Jackson was NASA’s first black female engineer.
Dorothy Vaughan
Dorothy Vaughan was the first black woman to become a supervisor and then became an early proponent of computer programming.
Valentina Tereshkova
Valentina Tereshkova, the Russian astronaut, was the first woman in space. Pretty impressive, right? Minifigs.me decided, therefore, that we absolutely had to include her in our latest minifigure set of inspirational women.

Marie Curie
A pioneer in the scientific field, Marie developed the theories behind radioactivity and discovered the elements Polonium and Radium. Small mobile x-rays used today are because of her efforts to bring potentially life saving science to battlefields.
After making such large scientific breakthroughs she was the first woman to be awarded a Nobel prize, first woman to win two Nobel prizes and the first person to win two prizes in two different sciences.

Anna Lister
20% of sales of this minifigure goes to akt (formerly the Albert Kennedy Trust), a charity that supports LGBTQ+ people aged 16 – 25 in the UK who are struggling with homelessness or living in a hostile environment.
