Today would have been Vincent Van Gogh’s 172nd birthday, you can celebrate by building two of his masterpieces from LEGO!
Over the past couple of years, LEGO has produced two awesome offerings from the massively influential artist, the first one was from the Ideas platform, LEGO Ideas Vincent van Gogh – The Starry Night (21333), the other was introduced recently, LEGO Art Vincent van Gogh – Sunflowers (31215). Both sets are built entirely out of LEGO bricks and have a 3D feel to them, with parts protruding, replicating brushstrokes and different techniques used in the originals.
Both sets can be displayed just like real works of art, on a shelf or on the wall. So grab either set (or both) and celebrate Van Gogh‘s Birthday in style and remember the man behind the art.
