Gamescom is a trade fair for video games held annually at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Amongst the new game news & reveals visitors get to play the newest games, meet developers and publishers, and connect with the gaming community.
But what does this mean for us LEGO fans? Well there are several games in the works inckyd8ng some from TT Games and 2K Games, but what could they be? TT Games are expected to drop the new of a brand new LEGO Harry Potter game which is rumoured to be similar to the LEGO Skywalker Saga, spanning the entire Wizarding World of Harry Potter in a single game.
With any luck we should be graced with news of what 2K Games has in store for us with their next title, which is rumoured to be a LEGO football game.
SEGA will also be there with their showing off Sonic Superstars which will include LEGO themed content. This new game will be showcased during Gamescom, so we’re certain to see more details surrounding the LEGO elements of the game.
Last but not least, Light Brick Studios are expected to reveal what they’ve been working on, this will be there second title, after the success of LEGO Builders Journey, we have high hopes for their game.
Gamescom will be streaming live from Tuesday (22nd August), most reveals will occur during Gamescom opening night so make sure to tune in! Of course all the LEGO related News will be added here so watch this space.
