Avid LEGO fans have known for awhile now that BIONICLE, the theme that saved LEGO many years ago, is returning with a one-off special GWP (gift with purchase) set!
LEGO BIONICLE Tahu and Takua (40581) is a modern take on a classic and features one of the most iconic characters in BIONICLE lore Tahu and the little Takua in his Matoran form.
Details have yet to be revealed by LEGO officially but reviews have started to surface, including from Brickset and BrickNerd.
Unfortunately we don’t know the exact date when the promotion starts but it is expected to be late January, most likely after the current House of the World 1 (40583) GWP ends. The spend requirement is slightly more reasonable than recent ones coming in at £90 ($100/€100).
