LEGO recently teased this set with a very short video on their social media platforms, which showed the teams logo and a portion of the brick-built stadium.
Today it has been officially announced via a product listing on their website (LEGO.com), which is marked down as on Back Order.
After the somewhat moderate success of the previously released LEGO Old Trafford Manchester United (10272) stadium set, it was inevitable that LEGO would turn to another popular stadium, in this case FC Barcelona!
Introducing LEGO Camp Nou FC Barcelona (10284)!
The stadium, which has been recreated in micro scale, consists of 5,509 pieces and measures a respectable 20cm (8″) tall, 49cm (19″) deep, and 46cm (18″) wide. You’ll definitely need to plan where this beast will be displayed.
It isn’t just the size of the set that is big the price follows suit and will set you back a RRP of £299.99 ($349.99 (USD), €329.99)
As we reported last week, the GWP (gift with purchase) that will be available with this set looks great, with most fans saying its better than the bigger stadium set!
Both the LEGO Camp Nou – FC Barcelona (10284) set and LEGO FC Barcelona Celebration (40485) GWP set will be available on 1st September, at all LEGO Certified Stores and Online!
