LEGO Harry Potter Diagon Alley (75978) Confirmed!

After the many leaks and rumours floating around concerning the new LEGO Diagon Alley set, we can now confirm it’s 100% official and happening sooner than expected.

Details can now be found listed on LEGO.com and give us everything we need to know about the upcoming set, LEGO Harry Potter Diagon Alley 75978. 

Consisting of a whopping 5,544 pieces and over a meter long. You’ll need to clear some display space for this one!

Details

Most of the iconic stores found in Diagon Alley will make an appearance, including:

• Ollivanders Wand shop
• Flourish & Blotts bookseller
• Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes
• Scribbulus™ Writing Implements,
• Quality Quidditch Supplies
• Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlour
• Daily Prophet.

The Minifigures included have yet to be announced but we expect to see them, and official set images, very soon indeed. We will keep you posted!

We can however compare it to previous sets and the last incarnation of Diagon Alley that LEGO released back in 2011 (10270). 

If it will look like this is anyone’s guess but from the size of it (102cm long) we expect to see something similar.
