LEGO have added a new page to their website advertising for Children to test a new app experience codenamed LEGO Metro!

The new digital LEGO experience is currently only available for iOS devices and is basically an interactive version of the hugely popular LEGO Life magazine.

The app is open to Children which allows them to use their LEGO.com avatar and take part in simple games and activities, as well as create builds in Studio and go on epic quests.

It seems great fun for younger fans and will help them to get involved, create awesome LEGO builds and most importantly have fun. Hop on over to LEGO.com and register your interest, a grown-up is needed to fill in the form and receive the email invite.

Official details:

Is your child our next LEGO® tester?
Hi there, responsible adult! We’re working on a new digital LEGO® experience for kids packed with games, digital brick building, social features, characters and challenges! Once it’s finished, it’ll be a place where kids can share creations, express themselves, connect with other LEGO fans their age – and explore a fun, interactive universe of LEGO play! We’re just starting to build it, though, and that’s where you come in!

Tell us what you think!
We love testing new experiences because that’s how we make sure that what we’re building will inspire and delight kids everywhere! That’s why we’re inviting you to this test, so your child can try out the new LEGO® experience and tell us exactly what they like about it – and even what they don’t. As we’re still building it, all the features aren’t fully available, but there’s still a load of fun to explore! We can’t wait to hear what you and your child will think about it!

You’re in control!
Before your child can have fun in the new LEGO® experience, we need a couple of things from you. We need your email to send you a link to download the app, and as part of our test we’ll track your child’s use of the app so we can understand what parts of it are most popular. We’ll also reach out to you with a short survey after your child has enjoyed the app for a while. This is a research project, so it’s a bit different from what we’d usually ask of you, and it’s important to us that you understand what’s involved.

Our legal basis for handling your information is indicated by your agreement to the Terms of this test. We will retain your basic data for two years. You may withdraw your child from the test at any time, and if you do so, we’ll make sure your child can’t access the test app anymore.
