If you’re a fan of the The Mummy franchise, which started back in 1999, then you’ll recognise the two characters Minifigs.me have recreated in LEGO form, adventurer Rick O’Connell and The Mummy himself Imhotep.
As you can see from the image above both Minifigures have been designed incredibly well and look just like their onscreen counterparts. The ruffled shirt and gun holsters on Rick look especially cool, they’ve even gone as far as printing straps just below the arms!
Imhotep looks just as good with his long flowing robes and necklace, he even comes with a printed tile of The Book of the Dead. I particularly love how Minifigs.me have captured his ‘finished‘ face, with a gapping hole in the side of his cheek.
The next to be immortalised in custom LEGO Minifigure form is Jack Torrence and The Twins from The Shining.
I’ll admit and say that even though I’ve seen the movie I can only recall some scenes, thankfully those are the ones in which the above characters appear in and are most widely know for, ‘Here’s Johnny!‘
Again the design team have done a wonderful job in recreating these iconic characters, from the details in the Jack’s jacket and the Twins pinnyfores to capturing Jack Nicholson’s face and smirk.
We hope to get some of the custom Minifigures listed above in-person and will give you a better look at them hopefully in a MOC (my own creation) we’ve been building over the last few days. We are super excited and can’t wait to get our hands on them.
