A new ride is coming to LEGOLAND Windsor Resort in 2024!
LEGO has revealed news of a brand new £10 million duelling rollercoaster and it’s theme, Minifigure Speedway. Pitting Team Legends against Allstars as ride-goers race against each other to the finish on a thrilling coaster with twists & turns. Opening in Spring 2024, it will be the World’s first LEGO duelling coaster.
For fans of rollercoasters, the manuf of the ride Zierer. It’s also going to be located near DUPLO Valley within the resort.

Minifigure Speedway will open in Spring 2024 and is the world’s first LEGO® duelling rollercoaster, exclusively racing at the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort!
The duelling rollercoaster offers an exhilarating experience for the whole family featuring cars that race forwards and in reverse on dual tracks. Minifigure Speedway is the fastest coaster at the Resort – reaching up to 56km/h
The £10m investment in Minifigure Speedway is part of the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort’s ambition to create a world class Resort destination for the future.
Wednesday 15 November: It’s time to rev-up those engines, as the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort reveals its fastest rollercoaster yet, Minifigure Speedway.
Racing into the Resort in Spring 2024, Minifigure Speedway will be the UK’s first LEGO® duelling coaster featuring Team Legends and Team Allstars cars that race forwards and in reverse, with a winning team every time!
Reaching speeds of up to 56km/h, the duelling coaster design has been inspired by the world’s great Speedway circuits, where racers will be immersed in a track like no other. Featuring state-of-the-art technology and a dynamic dual-track layout, the £10m Minifigure Speedway development is part of the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort’s ambition to create a world class Resort destination of the future.
The attraction is manufactured by Zierer and is currently under construction at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort.
Helen Bull, Division Director at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, said: “Minifigure Speedway is set to get pulses racing when it opens next Spring and will be the fun seeker’s favourite amongst families.
“Not only will it be the fastest coaster at the Resort once complete, but it will also offer a uniquely exhilarating experience where cars race forwards and in reverse against each other to see who will be named the winner. Keep your eyes peeled for more information coming soon.”
Minifigure Speedway’s announcement follows the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort’s recent opening of the world’s first LEGO® themed indoor golf attraction, LEGOLAND Adventure Golf, which launched as a second gate in October.
Work is also well underway to develop the new accommodation site, LEGOLAND Woodland Village which will open next May featuring 130 lodges, 20 camping barrels, an on-site restaurant (The Clubhouse Restaurant & Bar) and a family entertainment hub.
Tickets to LEGOLAND Windsor start from £35 per person, kids under 90cm go free. Tickets for 2024 season are now on sale and bookable at www.legoland.co.uk
