Earlier this year a movie was announced that would focus on the musician Pharrell Williams and his life story, it would be animated entirely in LEGO!
A trailer for the movie, ‘Piece by Piece‘, has been released, it showcases the LEGO Movie style graphics it is similar to. The entire world and characters are built from LEGO Bricks & Minifigures and it looks stunning. The movie will feature new and existing music from Pharrell Williams which is exciting in itself.
That’s not all, a set is also rumoured, but this has yet to be confirmed, watch this space for more news. Check out the trailer below.

Told through the lens of LEGO® animation, turn up the volume on your imagination and witness the evolution of one of music’s most innovative minds.
From Focus Features, PIECE BY PIECE was directed by Academy Award® winner Morgan Neville and produced by Neville and Caitrin Rogers (Tremolo Productions) alongside producers Pharrell Williams, Mimi Valdés, and Shani Saxon (i am OTHER). Jill Wilfert and Keith Malone are executive producing for the LEGO Group.
