A select few got the chance to preview the brand new Battersea Power Station LEGO Store before it’s grand opening tomorrow (25th May)!

Michael (@Brick_Shed) was lucky enough to have been invited and has shared some wonderful photos of what’s inside the store. As expected the new store boasts the usual features found in most LEGO stores including a Build-A-Minifigure station and a Pick-a-Brick wall. There are also a handful of store-exclusive modelsxthe most impressive being the LEGO-scale replica of the Battersea Power Station building itself and brilliantly crafted mosaic wall.

You may have noticed above that the bright red & yellow LEGO logo has been replaced by a somewhat ‘boring‘ comparison. The choice to go monochrome is so it fits in with its current surroundings. The whole storefront has been dulled down and to be completely honest I rather like this new look, it gives it a classier, adult feel.

A big thank you to Michael for allowing us to use his photos, it is very much appreciated!
