It’s Black Friday! And that means you get extra goodies when you subscribe to Blocks magazine this weekend…

Be quick to take advantage of these deals – offers end on November 28 at 9.00am unless stock runs out before then.

In Issue 110, Blocks takes 10321 Corvette out for a test drive to see whether it’s worth adding to the LEGO garage. That’s just the beginning of the Reviews section, which also covers Icons 10318 Concorde, Star Wars 75367 Venator-class Republic Attack Cruiser and Harry Potter 76419 Hogwarts Castle and Grounds.

It’s not just enough to hear what Blocks thinks of the new modular building though – Senior Model Designer Chris McVeigh explains how he designed the series’ widest set for years in an exclusive interview. That’s not the only in-depth chat this month, as the LEGO House creatives reveal how they upgraded Story Lab to bring in scenes inspired by Castle, Space and Pirates.

This is an essential issue for LEGO locomotive enthusiasts, as Blocks counts down the finest engines to have rolled out of the station, then the LEGO Trains Story explains how Harry Potter and AFOLs kept the train dream alive for a new generation.

There are plenty of pirate builds to admire in a feature on Brethren of the Brick Seas, a community role-playing game that sees AFOLs building amazing ships and islands while weaving them into a sprawling narrative. If you prefer builds with instructions, you can follow along and build a mini Venator, a DREAMZzz unicorn or a minifigure-scale snowmobile.

Within the 116-page magazine you’ll also find out what went on at Skærbæk Fan Weekend, read reaction to LEGO Animal Crossing sets, get the full story behind ‘What it is is beautiful’ and much more.

Blocks is giving away LEGO 10326 Natural History Museum! To be entered into the prize draw and to get Blocks magazine delivered every month – ahead of the shops – visit www.blocksmag.com and check out the money-saving subscription deals available.
