The LEGO Ideas team has announced that the Disney Pixar’s Luxo Jr Lamp by T0BY1KENOBI25150 has successfully passed review!

The idea has been through a couple of reviews in the past but thankfully it’s now been given the green light. We should see the set released next year as it’s the 30th anniversary of the 1st Toy Story movie, which in turn gave Pixar their first bit hit. Sadly we won’t get a glimpse of the final product or know exactly when it’ll release but at least we know the project made it through and we’ll be getting this fantastic idea.

Read more about it at the official LEGO Ideas website below.

Official details:

We are pleased to announce that the Disney Pixar Luxo Jr. submission has successfully passed the review stage and will be going into production to become an official LEGO Ideas set.

During the second LEGO Ideas Review Results of 2023, we announced that the Disney Pixar Luxo Jr. submission required further consideration. Now that this review stage has passed, we can all look forward to this incredible on-screen icon becoming a reality and hitting the shelves of LEGO retailers in the future. We know we can’t wait to get our hands on one (maybe even two)!

The Disney Pixar Luxo Jr. submission was recreated in LEGO bricks by T0BY1KENOBI25150 and you can find out more about the original submission in the 10K Blog Post here. We cannot explain how much we are looking forward to bringing this product to life and want to thank you, the fans, for your patience in waiting for us to reveal the results of this further review.

Design, pricing, and availability

We’re still working out the final product design, pricing, and availability for this new set. We’ll share more on the LEGO Ideas blog when we get closer to launch. You can always stay updated on product launches and much more via the LEGO Ideas newsletter.
