Life-sized R2-D2 droids have been built entirely from LEGO as part of the Star Wars 25th Anniversary celebrations!
Using a whopping 27,797 LEGO elements, Artoo took over 195 hours to construct and has become the most detailed LEGO R2-D2 ever built. They will be making their way across Europe and the US as part of a tour during 2024. The video below shows you how they came to life and the expert model makers that built them, it’s truly fascinating how something like this is made.

Ohh wow that’s absolutely amazing, I always love the almost life size builds in the Lego stores!!
And it‘s also very cool to see R2 in a size I’ve never seen him built before!
