LEGO’s Easter sets have always been admired in our household. We collect all the Easter Bunnies and little extras that go along with them.

This Years (2020) treat is an Easter Bunny with a rather suitable Scooter and a great little Hen House.

Final build and Minifigure

The main build:

The Hen House is the main build in this set, albeit based on a 4×4 plate.

Hen House

With just enough room for one Hen and an Egg, this build actually works really well and is Minifigure scale. The steps leading up are an awesome touch, implementing the new 1×1 pyramid elements.

Each side of the roof is a hinged 2×4 tile positioned at a slight angle which when touching creates the small roof.

A few bits of foliage dotted here and there to add to the aesthetics.

Turn the little Hen House around and you’ll see there is a small door, open this and you’ll be surprised to see the Hen has laid an Egg. Another detail which makes this Easter set a ‘cracker’!

Surprise Egg!

The Minifigure and Scooter:

Being a Minifigure collector and having most of the Easter Bunnies in my growing collection, this one was an obvious purchase and an addition I had to have!

Minifigure back

The printing on the front and back of the torso is done really well and somewhat resembles 2018’s Bunny Man edition, albeit not as fancy. The 2018 Bunny Man seems to have slightly more detail to it than this Year’s entry. But still it’s a new print front and back and we totally appreciate that!

2018’S LEGO Bunny Man Minifigure

The female face print is also new for this Minifigure and looks wonderful. Again it’s a great accompaniment to 2018’s male Bunny above.

Scooter

This scooter is awesome and suits this little set down to the ground.

From the kickstand to the egg headlight and half-a-dozen eggs on the back, it’s great!

The Easter Bunny looks comfortable enough when riding. Possibly a little cramped due to the eggs at the back but nothing too bad really.

Easter Bunny is on the way!

Side build:

As side builds go it’s one of the smallest I’ve ever come across, consisting of just 5 pieces. 4 Greenery elements and a 2×2 round plate make up this entire side build, if you can call it a build that is.

The good thing about this is the Greenery pieces, 2 of the newer leaf parts and 2 (different shades) of the tall grass pieces.

Conclusion:

All in all this is a great little set, and at a RRP of £6.99 and consisting of 57 pieces it’s worth getting.

The Minifigure is definitely the main attraction and would fit nicely into anyones collection!

Some cool and usable pieces for the MOC builds amongst us.
