One of the 6 characters had an awesome Carrot head piece, so when making the Minifigures I thought why not start the Carrot Crew?!

Past BaM parts, the green jumper and matching legs, were still available and made perfect sense to be the basis for the Carrot Crews‘ bodies. I popped random heads onto each one and gave two of them cups and one a teapot, maybe they are planning a Carrot Crew teaparty.

The Carrot Mascot pieces aren’t new but they are very cool, to see them at BaM Stations is nice, perfect for ‘growing’ your mascot and vegetable collection. Costing £5.99 for a pack of three is also great, so why not pop into your local store and grab them before they’re gone.

As with all things LEGO, nothing is set in stone, all the parts above can be swapped for entirely different bits. Genders can be switched, colour combinations can be whatever you make them, and accessories can be random. Remember to have fun and enjoy your LEGO experience.

If you like the look of these characters they are available now at most LEGO stores BaM Stations, although I would recommend phoning ahead to confirm before heading in and even getting a pack or two put by for you to avoid disappointment. You can either make them yourself or some stores conveniently bundle them into packs and are often located near the till area.

Let us know in the comments what you think of these new Minifigures and whether you collect them or not, we’d love to hear from you.

New Figs On The Block: Halloween 2022 Minifigures BaM! https://www.thebrickpost.com/news/new-figs-on-the-block-halloween-2022-minifigures-bam/ https://www.thebrickpost.com/news/new-figs-on-the-block-halloween-2022-minifigures-bam/#respond Fri, 02 Sep 2022 16:32:52 +0000 https://www.thebrickpost.com/?p=21179 The BaM (build a minifigure) station is fast becoming the place to grab new and exciting LEGO characters and on quite a regular basis too!

The last lot that were available featured a new ragtag crew of Cowboys & Cowgirls, and strangely an updated version of Captain Red Beard (Pirate). Before them we were graced with a new Knight torso, Wizard, and Queen, which makes for a great addition to the recently released LEGO Lion Knights Castle (10305).

A massive thank you is in order to our good friend @brickmcbricksworth, who recently picked up and took photos of the new Halloween characters that have started hitting stores. They feature a Potions Witch, Day of the Dead style/Corpse Bride, and a Bat-Boy Vigilante.

As you can see from the image above you get some fun Minifigures and cool accessories, which include Lavender coloured Wings, Witches torso and matching skirt and the Day of the Dead style head piece.

The Bat-Boy Minifigure, as we call him, makes good use of the masked head piece which also has an alternate face.

The Day of the Dead style female Minifigure features a female version of the Mariachi torso that we got at the start of the year. A perfect combo I must say!

The printing of her head piece is fantastic and really suits the Minifigure well. Of you’re a LEGO Harry Potter fan you’ll notice the hair piece, yep that’s right, it’s taken from Bellatrix Lestrange, which is somewhat rare amongst collectors.

The Witch Minifigure comes complete with a plain black hat and red/ginger hair, a spooky torso & skirt combo and a purple potion bottle. I particularly like the almost shiny silver detailing on the Spider’s Web on both the torso & skirt, combined with the purple and black it really is a cool but scary looking Witch

If you like the look of these characters they’re available now at most Certified LEGO Stores, although I would recommend phoning ahead to confirm before heading in and even getting a pack put by for you to avoid disappointment.

Let us know in the comments what you think of these new Minifigures and whether you collect them or not, we love hearing from you.

New Figs on the Block: The Knights of BaM! https://www.thebrickpost.com/news/new-figs-on-the-block-the-knights-of-bam/ https://www.thebrickpost.com/news/new-figs-on-the-block-the-knights-of-bam/#respond Sat, 07 May 2022 15:46:55 +0000 https://www.thebrickpost.com/?p=18394 The BaM (build a minifigure) Station has seen quite a significant update as a whole host of new parts have been added, including Castle elements!

The last lot that were available, around Valentines Day, featured a hot-pink Bear, Fairy girl, and Chick.

We were lucky enough to grab a few packs of Knights along with a Wizard and Princess/Queen Minifigure.

Starting with the Knight Minifigure we can instantly see a recognisable piece, the shield, which comes complete with the Black Falcon crest printed on its face. This alone attracts fans as it will be used in kitting out armies of Knights within that faction.

That’s not the main draw to the BaM Station though, oh no, the LEGO community is going mad for a new printed torso that so far is an exclusive and hasn’t been seen before, ever!

On the back we see once again the Black Falcon crest, which is very exciting in itself as we usually see it on plain blue torsos. This particular Knight is sporting a rather fetching red Cape, upon when the Black Falcon crest sits, this fastens around the neck on the front of the torso. We can see the chain mail clearly here as more is on show, I must say the design and printing is superb and is very crisp.

Not knowing to much about the whole LEGO Castle sets and the many Knight factions I had to seek some expert advice, this is where ClassicStyleCastle came to the rescue and shed a little bit of light on the matter at hand.

The main association between this new torso and the Black Falcon faction is made with the shield element being found at the BaM Station at the exact same time. Many fans, including myself, have just gone with that and made the connection ourselves, now this could be true and most likely are a faction within the Black Falcons themselves, as in some countries they were simply known as the Eagle faction. However at the end of the day we simply just don’t know and until LEGO give us official confirmation we can only speculate, they could even be used in the upcoming LEGO 90th Anniversary Castle set!

Please enjoy the images below of the new Knight Minifigures found in-store now (please check with your local store before heading in).

Other Castle style Minifigures available via the BaM Station consist of a Wizard and a Princess /Queen.

These are both done to a very high standard in terms of design and printing. The Wizard in particular looks like it could be an updated version of Majisto, who was first seen in 1993.

As you can see the coin pouch is there and so is the pointy hat, although the new Wizard doesn’t have a beard piece is does have an incredible pair of sideburns!

In then pre-picked packs, done so by Store members, they have given him an Owl as the accessory, this feels very apt and in keeping with how Wizards are portrayed in books and films.

The Princess/Queen Minifigure is just as nice as the others and makes for a great character to include in a Castle selection.

The hair piece and crown suits the Minifigure well and of course being part of the BaM Station you can swap any of the parts out and create an entirely different character.

It could just be me but I see a Ninja throwing star around her neck, which I don’t think a member of Royalty would have. It would suit a Ninjago character really well along with the bright pink dress, teal accents, and Koi carp dotted around her outfit.

Personally speak I’m not a big fan of those Crowns, they just don’t sit well and look kind of cheap. A proper moulded Crown hair piece is needed, similar to that of the LEGO Wonder Woman Minifigure.

These Minifigures have been showing up all over the Internet so they must have rolled out at roughly the same time. Please do check with your local store before heading in just to confirm they’re in stock, everyone hates a wasted journey.

Whilst you’re there you may see the other set of new BaM characters, centred on the Wild West, Cowboys!

We will showcase these in a different article once we’ve acquired them ourselves of course.

LEGO Build-A-Minifigure BETA Launched Online! https://www.thebrickpost.com/news/lego-build-a-minifigure-beta-launched-online/ https://www.thebrickpost.com/news/lego-build-a-minifigure-beta-launched-online/#respond Wed, 13 Apr 2022 12:02:42 +0000 https://www.thebrickpost.com/?p=17660 Today LEGO opened the BETA for their online BaM (build a minifigure) experience and it seems to work incredibly well!

The BETA is located online at https://www.lego.com/en-gb/build-a-mini and open to UK, Europe and Asia Pacific regions only at present.

As you may have guessed it is pretty similar to the physical BaM station found in-store and let’s you create a LEGO Minifigure from scratch using a selection of parts, including heads, torsos, legs, and accessories.

The price for a pack of three Minifigures is £5.97 ($9.99 (AU/NZ)/€6.99). Additional Minifigures can be added for only £1.99 extra ($3.33/€2.33).

We hope this feature becomes an online staple and opens up the whole experience and offer some really cool and unique parts, fingers crossed for some super exclusive parts too.

*please note this is still in BETA and maybe change over time*

New Figs on the Block: Valentine’s Characters and more! https://www.thebrickpost.com/reviews/new-figs-on-the-block-valentines-characters-and-more/ https://www.thebrickpost.com/reviews/new-figs-on-the-block-valentines-characters-and-more/#comments Mon, 14 Feb 2022 11:18:23 +0000 https://www.thebrickpost.com/?p=16429 The BaM (build a minifigure) station is fast becoming the place to grab new and exciting LEGO characters and on quite a regular basis too!

The last lot there were available featured a new pale blue Brick Person, a Clown, and a very random Cake suit guy. There are still some stores that have yet to catchup but hang on in there and you’ll soon see the BaM updated.

We were lucky enough to grab these and the new Valentine’s Day characters that have recently started hitting stores. They feature a dark pink Bear, Fairy girl, and Chick.

As you can see from the image above you get some fun Minifigures and cool accessories. Take the new wing piece for example, the shape is new and unique to the BaM and has yet to be seen in a set. Don’t get me started on the hot pink Bear, it is so cool and adds to the whole Bear lineup which there are already a few of, including a Panda.

If you like the look of these characters they’re available now at most Certified LEGO Stores, although I would recommend phoning ahead to confirm before heading in.

Let us k ow in the comments what you think of these Minifigures and whether you collect them or not, we love hearing from you.

New Build A Minifigure Characters First Look! https://www.thebrickpost.com/news/new-build-a-minifigure-characters-first-look/ https://www.thebrickpost.com/news/new-build-a-minifigure-characters-first-look/#respond Sun, 02 Jan 2022 08:43:49 +0000 https://www.thebrickpost.com/?p=15466 If you’re a fan of LEGO Minifigures and the BaM (Build a Minifigure) Station found at official LEGO Stores, then you’re in for a real treat soon, as three new characters have been revealed!

With big thanks to Dylan Chow we have our first proper look at three new Minifigures coming to LEGO Stores soon, although no official date has been revealed, we can at least see what they look like.

The characters include a Dessert/Cake Suit Guy, Clown, and a new colour of Brick Suit Person.

Not only are the Minifigures cool we have been treated to a handful of new prints and colours such as the cake slice which has been used before for the Pizza Suit and Watermelon Suit Minifigures. The Clown has new printing on both his torso and legs, and the new Brick Person colour is amazing and adds to the already impressive selection of colours.

Again there is no mention of a release date but we hope to be seeing them in official LEGO Stores soon. If you find them first don’t forget to share the news with us and we’ll keep this page updated!
