Thanks to a number of retailers who have updated their product listing for book, offers our first look at the Minifigure included with it. The LEGO Star Wars Character Encyclopedia will feature an exclusive Emperor Palpatine Minifigure. The book’s cover art character, Ashoka, was chosen by fans via a LEGO Ideas vote, this however did not represent the character destined to be bundled with it, thank goodness. Along with the reveal are a handful of preview pages, these offer a sneak peek inside and what to expect when it goes on sale April 2025.

The upcoming publication from LEGO, Lucasfilm and DK Books is set to publish in 2025. As always there will be a free exclusive Minifigure attached, however the winning character above only represents who will be featured on the front cover and not the freebie. Originally there were 3 characters to choose from – Luke Skywalker, C-3PO or Ahsoka Tano. The winning character was Ahsoka Tano. We’re hoping for a much more sought-after Minifigure to be given away free when the updated edition is released. Watch this space for more news when it drops. The ultimate guide to the best 200 minifigures from the LEGO Star Wars galaxy is coming in April 2025!

The updated edition of the book is getting an exciting new cover, and we invited you to choose which minifigure will be shown on the front.

The time has come to reveal the results.

And the minifigure you’ve chosen to be featured in the ultimate guide to the best 200 minifigures from the LEGO Star Wars galaxy is…

Ahsoka Tano

In collaboration with the LEGO Group, Lucasfilm, and DK, this new edition will showcase over 200 beloved characters, including Darth Vader, Chewbacca, R2-D2, Rey, Grogu, and the Mandalorian (Din Djarin). Discover rare minifigures, exclusive printings, and unique accessories.

The new publication from DK Books is set to publish in 2025, but they need your help in choosing the character that will take centre stage and appear on the front cover. You have the choice of 3 characters – Luke Skywalker, C-3PO or Ahsoka Tano. Castong your vote couldn’t be easier, simply visit the LEGO Ideas Blog, sign into your LEGO account and select the character you’d like to see on the front cover of the book.

As usual the book will come bundled with an exclusive Minifigure, which hasn’t been revealed yet. However this LEGO Ideas vote DOES NOT reflect which character will be included.
