There are two tins available to collect each with a cool Darth Vader Minifigure!

The magazine itself follows suit with all its predecessors, with a ton of puzzles and activities, such as dice based games, mazes and word games. These are great fun for the intended younger fans, offering up a fun yet somewhat educational experience.

The double-sided poster as usual features great artwork and worthy of hanging onto for LEGO room decoration. Also the Comic-strip stories are great fun to read especially with young fans, they often feature characters that are included as freebies with each magazine issue, this time around we get a Darth Vader Minifigure, complete with arm printing.

Both the torso and legs feature a printed design with outlines to highlight the robes, along with buttons which Darth Vader has on his chest plate. The prints lineup well when the torso connects to the legs. There is arm printing which is a big bonus, sadly this isn’t an exclusive Minifigure as it comes with the recent LEGO Darth Vader Mech Set (75368) set. It is perfect for collectors though as it’s currently the cheapest way to bag this Minifigure.

As mentioned and photographed above, the real draw of this issue are the two exclusive tins, one is rectangular and the other is in the shape of Vader’s helmet. Picking up these magazines isn’t particularly difficult, but it has proven hard to source one of each. Certain stores stock just one of them so a trip or two to other stores is necessary if wanting both tins. They are great quality and will no doubt come in handy, be it for storing Minifigures, parts or other things.

Below are a handful of pages to showcase what these style of publications offer along with the Darth Vader Minifigure and tins.

LEGO Star Wars Special Edition Magazine Issue 111 can be picked up from most good newsagents and supermarkets, such as WHSmithASDATesco and Sainsbury’s, to mention a few. If you can’t get to a store please don’t fret, they’re available online at Magsdirect, they also deliver worldwide!
