The two sets unfortunately aren’t new, first up is LEGO Fun Creativity 12-in-1 (40593), which is free with purchases of £70 ($/€80) or more. Second is a bundle of LEGO Polybags which can be yours when you spend £45 ($/€50) or more.

All 3 sets aren’t new but they make fore great gifts, especially when they’re free. The 12-in-1 first released this time last year and is great for creating Summer themed build. Both promotions expire 14th July or until stocks last.

It features a mini brick-built model of the awesome yet terrifying Star Wars ship. As always with Smyths events, it’s first-come first-served and one free set per person, it begins when the doors open at 9am.

Head to Smyths Toys Superstores today (13th April) to make and take one of three mini LEGO sets, these include Animal Crossing, Friends and Harry Potter. All UK stores will be participating in the LEGO Make & Take event, remember that it is usually for Children and limited to one free set each. The event starts when doors open at 9am.

You can also bag the same three builds at selected Hamleys stores, also sharing today (13th April) from 11am.

Official LEGO stores are also giving away a free LEGO Friends polybag set. Pop into your local store on April 13th between 10am and 12pm or 14th between 12pm and 2pm, where a free LEGO Friends Mobile Music Trailer (30658) polybag set will be waiting for you, whilst stocks last of course.

Please check woth your local stores before heading out, to avoid disappointment. Times and stock quantities may vary from store to store.

Visitors to LEGO stores on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th January, will be able to pickup the aforementioned polybag which includes an Asha Mini-doll, a Wishing Star and a small brick-built stall. As usual it’s one per person and will be on a first-come first-served basis.

Please check with your local LEGO store to confirm their participation. Times may vary depending on location but usually they’re held between 10:00am and 12:00pm on Saturdays and between 12:00pm and 14:00pm on Sundays.

The Christmas themed LEGO Make & Take event will be held in all Smyths Toys UK and Ireland stores. Shoppers can pop along to their local Smyths on Saturday, 4th November and build a very festive & unique Christmas LEGO decoration. There are three to choose from including a Christmas tree, Snowman and of course Santa himself.

The Make & Take event will start at 9am and run all day or until stocks last. Unfortunately only one build will be available per person so choose wisely. As always these events are aimed towards kids, so make sure to take yours along.

The LEGO Magic Maze (40596) comprises of 332 pieces and is inspired by a handheld game that is played by tilting the board from side-to-side in order to get the ball past the obstacles and reach the end. This is very reminiscent of a childhood favourite of mine, Screwball Scamble, so I can’t wait for this to drop.

Visitors to the London Leicester Square LEGO store will be able to purchase the upcoming LEGO Gringotts Wizarding Bank Collectors Edition (76417) set as well as meet the designers and get their set signed. There is a rumoured LEGO Gringotts GWP that should be revealed any day now, info we can’t share the images but from what I’ve seen the smaller set is an ‘add-on‘ to the larger Gringotts set, exciting.

We’ve heard whiffs of some LEGO Harry Potter sets going on sale, if this is true is another matter, fingers crossed it is. Please watch this space for more details soon.
