The set comprises of 244 pieces and features a Ballerina dancing, that rotates, to Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker, Al contained within a brick-built scene. Unfortunately there is no information on availability or spend threshold, so watch this space.

The set features a brick-built Naughts & Crosses board with white and orange accents. The most interesting part of the set is that is comes with 10 LEGO Astronaut Minifigures. The characters match the boards colours scheme with 5 orange and 5 white suited and booted Space people.

Grab this sweet looking set free, both in-store and online, from today through to 11th November. The set won the LEGO Ideas Me, Myself, and I building challenge from the start of the year, which was to create a Singles Day-inspired build. The winning fan creation was originally called ‘Reading, Reading, Reading’ but has since been changed to ‘Books Are My Passion‘. I myself have felt the full force of FOMO, in my early collecting days, especially when a tie-in set is on the cards. With the bigger sets, like Barad-dûr, Jabba’s Sail Barge and the upcoming Ideas Botanical Gardens sets, the tie-in gifts are usually extremely exclusive and very sought-after, making the fear of missing out that much more. If you’re buying the set in question anyway then it’s a win win.

What do I mean by tie-in sets? Well, take the LEGO Barad-dûr set for example, the very impressive set launched with a gift with purchase build that ties into the theme and is only available when purchasing the larger set. These promotions happen more frequent than you might think, this year we’ve had six already with one on the way. The Double LEGO Insiders Points event runs from 15th to 20th October, the scheme is free to join and the points can be used to redeem special items, both digital and physical, and money off vouchers. The promotion will be available on all themes and purchases, that also includes pre-orders. 

Also up for grabs is the fourth and final miniscale LEGO Bakery (40696) GWP set, the spend threshold is the same as previous sets coming in at £180 ($/€200). This runs from 15th to 25th October, with all themes and sets qualifying, whilst stocks last of course.

That’s not all as two LEGO Polybags are on offer too as part of a Polybag Bundle. First up is Kiki’s Coconut Attack () which is part of the Sonic The Hedgehog series, secondly is Steve and Baby Panda (). This bundle requires purchases of £45 ($/€50) or more on selected themes, Animal Crossing, Despicable Me 4, Fortnite, Minecraft, Sonic the Hedgehog and Super Mario.

A selection of LEGO sets have entered the Sale section of the website and vary depending on region. From now until 20th October there are discounts on a handful of set which are available to Insiders members. They isn’t anything too spectacular every saving helps, they also count towards the thresholds for the goodies mentioned above, so take a look and see what takes your fancy.
