The set will be release 1st March 2025 and will comprise of 768 pieces. It comes complete with two new Minifigures of Aloy and Varl along with a brick-built Shell-Walker and Sawtooth machines – as we saw in the recent behind the scenes video earlier in the week. This will be an extremely popular set as not only is it very cool it is also affordable, coming in a rumoured $44.99. I personally can’t wait for this and other sets in the theme to arrive, having picked up the LEGO Tallneck when it released a couple of years ago, these will make the perfect companion pieces.

In the video, several designers and games developers sit down and discuss the creation of the game and how they effortlessly blended LEGO bricks with the futuristic but harsh world of Horizon: Zero Dawn. Being a fan of the original games it was really interesting to learn more about this reimagining and I genuinely can’t wait to give this game a go. The LEGO side of me was extremely excited to see the physical sets towards the end of the video, which included a Sawtooth and a Shell-Walker.

As fans know there was a Tallneck set released back in 2022, this also came with an Aloy Minifigure. An updated Minifigure was spotting along the two potential set leaks. From the video we can see the torso and face has been tweaked slightly. This hints at the possibly of more LEGO Horizon sets in the future. What do you think? Take a look below at the screen grabs taken from the video.

LEGO Horizon Adventures is released 14th November on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC. Pre-order the game here.

LEGO Horizon Adventures Game Now Available To Pre-Order! https://www.thebrickpost.com/news/lego-horizon-adventures-game-now-available-to-pre-order/ https://www.thebrickpost.com/news/lego-horizon-adventures-game-now-available-to-pre-order/#respond Thu, 03 Oct 2024 13:44:16 +0000 https://www.thebrickpost.com/?p=42720 Pre-orders have started for the LEGO Horizon Adventures game which is developed by Guerrilla Games and Studio Gobo!

The game was initially announced during Summer Game Fest in June, followed by trailers, in-game images and most recently a release date. From today you can pre-order LEGO Horizon Adventures on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC. The games full release will be 14th November, which is still some time away, until then you could replay the original Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West titles, currently exclusive to PlayStation.

Fans of the originals, will know that the game follows Aloy, a young hunter in a world overrun by machines, who sets out to uncover her past. Using ranged weapons, a spear, and stealth to combat mechanical creatures and other enemy forces. The games machines are fully mechanical but thanks to the upcoming LEGO game we will see them in brick form, which unsurprisingly is extremely cool.

As seen in the pre-order trailer from last week (below), those that pre-order the early will unlock a new  in-game wearable item, the Shield-Weaver outfit. Also in the video we see other outfits, these must be unlockable in the gamw by performing tasks. Fans of other exclusive Sony PlayStation games will recognise Sackboy from LittleBigPlanet and Ratchet and Rivet from the Ratchet & Clank series.

I can’t imagine LEGO stopping with this  game though, with so many amazing Machines in the game that could get the brick-built treatment. We’ve already had a LEGO Tallneck set, others in the series could be a Watcher, Thunderjaw and Sawtooth, to name a few. That’s not to mention the plethora of Minifigures that could be done, such as Varl, Erend, Teersa, Sylens, Helis, and new Aloy variants would be extremely welcome.

Pre-orders for LEGO Horizon Adventures started today, 3rd October, with the games official release on 14th November. Will you be picking up this game? Let us know in the comments section below.

Which Game Would You Like To Play A LEGO Version Of? https://www.thebrickpost.com/blog/which-game-would-you-like-to-a-lego-version-of/ https://www.thebrickpost.com/blog/which-game-would-you-like-to-a-lego-version-of/#respond Tue, 10 Sep 2024 10:12:00 +0000 https://www.thebrickpost.com/?p=41914 With the LEGO Horizon Adventures game dropping soon, it got me thinking what other games would be fun as LEGO!

LEGO has a few gaming Console and Character sets under their belt, with the likes of the Nintendo NESAtariPac-ManThe Mighty Bowser, a Tallneck from Horizon Zero Dawn and of course Super Mario, to name a few. Apart from a handful of their own video games the industry is in need of new and exciting games to get stuck into. The Video Games industry is massive and entertains millions around the World on a daily basis, myself included. Combining my love of gaming and LEGO would be epic and thankfully that void will be filled soon with the upcoming LEGO Horizon Adventures game. I personally loved the Tallneck set which was inspired by the game that I played through.

There are of course a plethora of video games that could easily be transformed into LEGO, including but not limited to Tomb Raider, HALO, Gears of War, Assassins Creed, Halflife, Street Fighter and so many more, it’s impossible to list here.

So, my question for you today is, which game would you like to see a LEGO version of? Comment below or why not join in the discussion on our Instagram channel?

Which Horizon Zero Dawn/Forbidden West Machines Would You Like To See From LEGO? https://www.thebrickpost.com/blog/which-horizon-zero-dawn-forbidden-west-machines-would-you-like-to-see-from-lego/ https://www.thebrickpost.com/blog/which-horizon-zero-dawn-forbidden-west-machines-would-you-like-to-see-from-lego/#respond Tue, 09 Jul 2024 13:58:47 +0000 https://www.thebrickpost.com/?p=40074 With LEGO Horizon Adventures on the way and the original two games being hugely popular, we pose a very important question to the LEGO community, which Machines would you like to see as a LEGO set?

Two years about we were graced with the LEGO Tallneck (76989), a set based on one of the Machines from the game that you could climb, hack and unveil more of the games map. With many dotted around the game as strategic locations, it was a great choice to make this into a LEGO set. Of course there are other awesome Machines to choose from, including the Watcher, which I guess you could argus has already been done in brick form thanks to the very small model of it in the Tallneck set. I personally would love a larger-scale Watcher to add to my collection.

Below are a handpicked bunch of Machines that are seen in the game quite early on, there are a ton of others that are available to choose from here. So, pop on your thinking caps and tell us which Machine would you like to see from LEGO next?
