This submission, by King Of Crocs, features a scaled-down replica of a Crocodile perched nicely on a brick-built stand. This attaches to a smaller plinth where Steve Irwin stands proud holding a smaller Croc.

Crikey! Steve Irwin, aka The Crocodile Hunter, was a famous Australian zookeeper, conservationist, wildlife educator, and environmentalist – King Of Crocs

I remember sitting down to watch his TV show and being in awe of him and his talent. With his sudden and tragic death in 2006, the whole world lost a hero and since then nobody has taken his place, he is truly a legend.

So having him immortalised in LEGO form would be a great honour and one I’d definitely purchase if produced into a real set.

The Minifigure captures Steve Irwin brilliantly, with his big cheeky smile and Zoo uniform. The alternative face is also fun, a shocked expression. The plinth he’s in has a small Crocodile laying in some water, a few bits of foliage and a rather nice name plate, I do hope this will be printed.

The Majestic Crocodile is a sight to see too, being entirely brick-built with articulation and opening mouth. I like how it looks overall and the colour scheme used, it’s an amazing replica of the prehistoric looking creature.

The crocodile is not green because there are no purely green crocs in real life! The colors and patterns of my model were made to match the most common ones in real saltwater Crocs – King Of Crocs

The set idea itself it fully polished and could easily be made into a purchasable set, I’d buy it for sure and display it proudly on my shelf.

We would like to wish King Of Crocs the best of luck in gaining the required 10k support. If you like the look of this idea and would like to give your support, please use the links below. Registration is free to LEGO Ideas and only takes a minute, so head over there now and do your part!
