The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have been around for many decades and there have been many incarnations, but for me the classic 1987 design is one of the best. This idea is brought to you by Teljesnegyzet, who also has many other ideas under his belt, many of which are buildable figures just like today’s feature.

This idea is a group of brick-built figures of Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo, anthropomorphic turtle protagonists of the 1987 cartoon series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

When I was younger I used to have action figures just like the ones made from LEGO here, with the se articulation and accessories. Of course the figures were a lot smaller but I think the size of these builds are perfect and would make great display pieces for older fans and playable dolls for younger ones.

The single and closeup photos show the leader, Leonardo, standing proud with his swords. The techniques used looks amazing and add so much detail to the already complex character. The slopes, curves and tiles make for a polished finished and I personally would love to have these guys sat on my shelf having a good time. The closeup shows more of the wonderful techniques used to create the features, including the eyes, mask, nose and mouth.

I believe this would make a great LEGO set because the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise is still popular, and its fans would love to build and display figures of the characters.

Do you like the look of these buoable figures? Which TMNT has always been your favourite? Please support the idea and comment below your childhood favourite. Mine has also been Donatello, he’s nerdy and cool!

We would like to wish Teljesnegyzet the best of luck in gaining the required 10k support, they are already over the 1k milestone.
