This week’s Minifigure Monday Crayon Girl (TLM152) from the LEGO Movie 2 CMF series.

My thoughts:

This one is a really fun minifigure, which resembles a purple crayon.

Including the crayon costume which sits over the minifigure, it is made up of 4 pieces in total. The mix of purples and the flowers on the crayon really adds a cuteness to this crayon girl. She has 2 different face options and also comes with a printed tile with a purple Lego head doodle.

This week’s Minifigure Monday is Demogorgon (ST008)! 

For this weeks Minifigure Monday comes with no real surprise.

Being a big Stranger Things fan and the wait being over for the finale of season 4, I just had to choose another one of my Stranger Things minifigures… The Demogorgon.

My thoughts:

I think Lego have done a great job with this minifigure. The printing and shape to the head piece is superb! Resembling when the Demogorgon is in ‘attack’ mode opening its plant like petals and displaying its teeth.

What is cool is if you remove this piece it reveals a normal minifigure head showing how the Demogorgon would look normally.

The printing detail continues down the torso and legs. They have used a different leg piece to help make this one look much more creature like.

Carrying the wolverine style claws finishes this minifigure off perfectly. The Demogorgon really isn’t someone you would want to cross paths with.

Although this minifigure is from a discontinued set, a version (minus the claws) is currently available as a keyring/keychain for only £4.99… but if you see one, make sure you buy one quickly as since it’s release they have been out of stock!

This week’s Minifigure Monday Adidas Shoebox Costume (GEN156)! 

The Adidas Shoebox Costume appears in the Mini Adidas Originals Superstar set 40486 which was a promotional gift in 2021.

My Thoughts:

The first thing you notice is the awesome Adidas logo which is made to look like the top of a box of trainers.

Unfortunately this is a sticker and not printed piece but I think you’ll agree this is still a nice part of the minifigure.

The head just has the 1 printed side which is the ‘classic’ minifigure face/expression.

The torso is the blue 2×3 brick costume style body which we have started to see in a range of new colours recently so could be displayed with or without the Adidas tile. Also has plain white legs.

This minifigure comes with a few accessories including a White Hat, Microphone and a Ghettoblaster/Boombox

With this weeks official release of The Muppets CMF, I just had to choose one for minifigure Monday.

This week’s Minifigure Monday is Kermit The Frog!

Kermit has to be one of the most iconic characters when it comes to thinking of The Muppets.

My thoughts:

I will be honest, I wasn’t a huge fan of watching The Muppets when I was younger but my kids really enjoy them now.
When we saw the pictures when LEGO revealed this series, we knew these would be added to our collection.

The first thing you will notice is classic green colour of Kermit.
There’s not masses of detail when it comes to the printing but I think with these kind of character minifigures it’s more about getting the moulding correct and this one captures Kermit amazingly.

He has front and back printing on the torso and bendable mini legs.

With this minifigure you get a couple of accessories… a silver Banjo and a rainbow tile.

This week’s Minifigure Monday Clark Kent/Superman (SH084)!

My thoughts:

As always with Minifigures that come packaged with DVDs, Books, and other forms that aren’t sets, they’re exclusive and sought-after, today’s choice came with the LEGO DC Super Heroes Unite DVD (5002202).

I really enjoy looking at this Minifigure as there is so much going on, although most of the detail is confined to the torso, for starters it depicts Clark Kent with his shirt and jacket half ripped open in the midst of changing into his Superman outfit.

The design of the torso is outstanding and looks really well done, with the shadows and small details that make LEGO King of the Minifigures.

Sadly there isn’t much else to look at as the arms & legs are lacking in the print department. The head however has a satisfactory amount with Clarke Kent’s glasses and a slight grimacing expression.

Overall the Minifigure is great and one I cherish in my collection, I’m so happy to have it.

This week’s Minifigure Monday is, Apocalypse Benny (TLM150)!

This weeks minifigure was a harder one to choose, when trying to select one for this week but had that staring into space moment when looking at the collection.
So what better minifigure than a ‘space’ themed one, Benny!

This version of Benny appeared in The Lego Movie 2 collectible minifigures (CMF) (71023) in 2019.

My thoughts:

I’m not a huge Space collector so I don’t have many space style Minifigures. I quite like this version as Benny comes across like he’s been through a lot with the fading of the logo on his torso and bionic arm, but is still showing off that happy grin.

Under the classic space helmet which has that broken appearance to it, he has 2 printed faces, the other being a more unhappy/frowning face so I guess he isn’t always in a good mood.

As well as the space airtank on his back, there’s another nice little accessory, a red tool box which again has the space logo printed on the it, a great addition to this minifigure.

This week’s Minifigure Monday is Dr Strange (SH509)!

I had the help from Brick_Beat_Jr with choosing this weeks Minifigure, after recently watching Spider-Man No Way Home and playing the latest Fortnite Season which features him, Ollie (Brick_Beat_Jr) chose Dr Strange.

This minifigure appeared in the LEGO Marvel Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown (76108) in 2018.

My thoughts:

This was 1 of the 5 figures available in this set.

The printing on this one is brilliant! 

The hair piece has white streaks printed on each side.

He has 2 sides for a face option, one side with his mouth closed and the other with a more gritted teeth expression, again with the white print added to his facial hair matching to how he looks in the movies.

Working down, the torso and leg prints are amazing! With his torso even including the area where he houses The Time Stone. This robe and belt prints continue down onto his legs. He also comes with a 2 piece red cape.

In the set you also get some transparent orange accessories which are perfect to use for his shields or spells.
