Yesterday on the online LEGO Pick A Brick service, hundreds of new pieces were added, but one was removed due to a pricing error, the Goat!

That’s right, from tomorrow (3rd July) one of the most sought-after animal figures is making its way to the kine service. The grey Goat from the recent LEGO Icons Medieval Town Square (10332) set will be available to purchase via the Pick A Brick (PaB) service on LEGO.com, how long it’ll stay in stock for is anyone’s guess.

LEGO has issued an official statement regarding its removal yesterday, which was apparently due to it being listed at the wrong price. All orders that included the Goat will be cancelled. Read the full statement below.

https://www.lego.com/en-gb/pick-and-build/pick-a-brick

Official statement:

On July 1st, along with other novelty elements, we were excited to make available one of the greatest LEGO® elements of all time, the LEGO goat (6490240) through the online Pick a Brick service. Unfortunately, a pricing error was identified with a select number of new elements including the LEGO goat. Approximately 30 minutes after launch, these elements were temporarily removed to investigate. At this point, the cause for the error has been identified and corrected, and the gray LEGO goat will return to Pick a Brick on July 3rd.

In line with the terms and conditions of LEGO.com, all orders placed on July 1st, for the LEGO goat, have been or will be canceled.

The images and links for each build can be found below, please note that some sets are showing as ‘out of stock’, this is due to some elements being retired and/or temporarily unavailable. LEGO brings updates to online PAB! https://www.thebrickpost.com/news/lego-brings-updates-to-online-pab/ https://www.thebrickpost.com/news/lego-brings-updates-to-online-pab/#respond Tue, 05 Mar 2024 19:56:49 +0000 https://www.thebrickpost.com/?p=36092 Over the past few weeks, LEGO has made a few changes to its online parts ordering service, Pick A Brick (PAB). Some of these parts are region specific, and not all are immediately visible to users.

Recently LEGO stated they made improvements to their facillities in Billund to improve order handling. This caused the availability of parts do decrease and handling times to increase. After these changes were made the service was back to full service recently.

Furthermore new parts from September and Obtober 2023 sets were added to PAB. These include specific holiday themed parts like green antlers as included in the Friends Advent Calendar.

And last of these updates was made for the European warehouse in Poland. Some (to be honest long overdue) parts were changed from standard service to bestseller. This means these parts will arrive a lot sooner after placing an order. Delivery time for standard parts is estimated at 4 weeks, for bestseller parts this is 1 week. From my experience this can even be quicker with parts arriving in 4 days or something like that.

Parts included in this switch are the popular fern pieces in several colors, which had been a bestseller part in the USA for some time already. Other parts included in this change are viking helmets, animals like baby seals and many more.

Let’s hope things will go smoother for 2024 parts and predictable bestsellers are added to this quicker service instantly when they are added. On average it will take 3 months for parts to be added so we hope new parts start arriving next month.

You can find the PAB service on the LEGO website.

LEGO Pick-A-Brick Valentine’s Day Mini set Available! https://www.thebrickpost.com/news/lego-pick-a-brick-valentines-day-mini-set-available/ https://www.thebrickpost.com/news/lego-pick-a-brick-valentines-day-mini-set-available/#respond Sat, 13 Jan 2024 15:03:23 +0000 https://www.thebrickpost.com/?p=34737 There’s a brand new miniset available to purchase via the online Pick-a-Brick service!

The Love Birds Greeting miniset is the latest build to be added to the popular online LEGO Pick-A-Brick service. You can either add the required parts to your basket and checkout as usual or download the instructions and build it using your spares. It features a white 16×16 plate that is colourfully decorated with various DOTS and tiles to create two love bird designs.

We’ve conveniently linked to parts needed and to the digital instructions. Unfortunately, at the time of writing this article, some of the elements are out of stock in North America.

Online Pick A Brick Available Again! https://www.thebrickpost.com/news/online-pick-a-brick-available-again/ https://www.thebrickpost.com/news/online-pick-a-brick-available-again/#respond Fri, 05 Jan 2024 22:06:01 +0000 https://www.thebrickpost.com/?p=34503 With the holidays over, LEGO has reopened the standard Pick A Brick service. While the bestseller service from local warehouses continued, the service operated from Billund was temporarily anavailable. So this means thousands of parts can once again be ordered directly from LEGO.

At this moment, no new parts are added but according to recent reports, this won’t be long. Quite a few parts from the September 2023 wave of sets will be added later this month. This includes the Christmas pets from the Friends Advent calendars. No specific date is communicated at this moment.

LEGO Closes Standard PaB For Christmas! https://www.thebrickpost.com/news/lego-closes-standard-pab-for-christmas/ https://www.thebrickpost.com/news/lego-closes-standard-pab-for-christmas/#respond Thu, 07 Dec 2023 19:38:59 +0000 https://www.thebrickpost.com/?p=33481 Without any warning, LEGO has decided it was a good idea to close their online standard PaB (Pick-a-Brick) service!

This used to be a regular occurrence a few years ago but since LEGO updated the service it has remained open, until now.

Many LEGO building communities, especially online, have shown understandable dissatisfaction, as fans were filling their baskets in order to purchase bits & pieces for Christmas builds and other ongoing projects. Once LEGO closed the service these shopping baskets were emptied and hours of searching and picking have gone down the drain, thanks LEGO!

That’s not all, the feedback function has also vanished, resulting in customers having no way to vent their frustrations to LEGO themselves, without visiting customer services. .

LEGO must realise they will receive a lot of complaints and basklash for treating loyal customers like this, without any warning. Have you been affected by this move? Let us know via the comments section below.

August Parts Added To Online Pick A Brick! https://www.thebrickpost.com/news/august-parts-added-to-online-pick-a-brick/ https://www.thebrickpost.com/news/august-parts-added-to-online-pick-a-brick/#respond Tue, 14 Nov 2023 19:49:51 +0000 https://www.thebrickpost.com/?p=32633 Great news for all the builders and LEGO PAB addicts: Over 470 new parts were added to the service today! The parts added today all appear to be from sets released in August 2023.

This means you can now pick up Susan. She isn’t cheap however. And of course all the other awesome Dreamzzz characters are also added with all their amazing prints and new parts.

Other than Dreamzzz, a few parts from Super Mario Donkey Kong,  the Tranquil Garden and the Corvette Camaro were also added. Like the new banana bunch or Dark Green and Dark Bluish Grey Fern piece.

If this wasn’t reason enough to hop over there straight away I’ve compiled a few of my favourites below:

Not all parts are in stock right away, but check back often since LEGO updates this frequently.

What are your favourite parts from this ‘wave’? What should we definitely pick up? Share your thoughts in the comments!

New Parts Added To LEGO Online Pick-a-Brick! https://www.thebrickpost.com/news/new-parts-added-to-lego-online-pick-a-brick/ https://www.thebrickpost.com/news/new-parts-added-to-lego-online-pick-a-brick/#comments Sun, 18 Jun 2023 10:26:02 +0000 https://www.thebrickpost.com/?p=28471 In May we got the addition of parts from the January 2023 wave of sets. Today over 60 new parts from the February sets were added.

February saw the release of the Icons botanical sets and also the Ideas A-frame cabin. As a result quite a few of the added pieces are plant or tree related.

Curiously parts from the Chinese Traditional Festival sets are still not added. Popular pieces like the purple airtank are still missing as a result of this. Also, not all of the new parts are in stock and available for order yet. Based on previous experiences this will likely be a matter of days.

You can find the online PAB here.

Closer Look At LEGO Ideas Market Magic By BoomBrickz! https://www.thebrickpost.com/reviews/closer-look-at-lego-ideas-market-magic-by-boombrickz/ https://www.thebrickpost.com/reviews/closer-look-at-lego-ideas-market-magic-by-boombrickz/#comments Sat, 27 May 2023 21:43:31 +0000 https://www.thebrickpost.com/?p=27658 The LEGO Pick-a-Brick service, both online and in physical stores, is a great way to get certain parts, especially if you’re building a MOC, adding to a City, or beefing up your stash of spares. I often pickup a tub or two when visiting my local store, it would be rude not to.

In some of the larger stores there are sometimes exclusive minibuilds, recently LEGO Ideas held a challenge which resulted in several designs being picked and made into purchase Pick-a-Brick sets. One of these was designed by our good friend Martin from @boombrickz, who made the now titled Market Magic!

Here we’ll dive into what the set consists of and how we got on with building it.

First off I’d like to thank Martin for gifting this to me at a recent Brick Boyz meet up, it was a wonderful surprise, one I’m going to cherish for a long time.

The set comes in a LEGO branded bag full of all the loose parts, packaged separately is the 16×16 baseplate. The instructions cna be found online, here, so don’t panic we’ve got you covered. Being quite a straightforward build process you could most likely copy the image to some extent.

For a simple looking set the build is quite enjoyable, with some nice techniques, including the stalls themselves, layered bricks and plates to create a shelf, chuck in a handful of jumper tiles and hey-presto a sweet treats stall.

As you can see there are many accessories included, from half a dozen eggs and a bunch of Bananas to Pumpkins and Pizzas. I like that LEGO have kept these in from the original design, in fact not much has changed overall. Spin the set around and it looks just as good, taking photos for this review was enjoyable for this reason, from every angle it looks great. This makes it perfect for creating scenes, stories and even popping it in a Cityscape.

From my limited knowledge of parts and their rareness, I don’t think there are any sought-after pieces here which is both a shame and a blessing, as sourcing this set from the online Pick-a-Brick service would have upped the price substantially. It currents goes for £23.67 ($41.60 AUD/$38.45 NZD/€27.80).

If you’d like to purchase this set, or any others from the challenge, the link to the official page is here.

Again big thanks to Martin for gifting us this marvellous set, it’ll take pride of place in my collection, along with the signed & date brick, thank you buddy!

New 2023 Parts Now Available At LEGO Online Pick-a-Brick! https://www.thebrickpost.com/news/new-2023-parts-now-available-at-lego-online-pick-a-brick/ https://www.thebrickpost.com/news/new-2023-parts-now-available-at-lego-online-pick-a-brick/#respond Tue, 09 May 2023 10:05:17 +0000 https://www.thebrickpost.com/?p=27235 Many MOC builders will be familiar with the online Pick-a-Brick service from LEGO. Last year some changes were made to the service, waiting a few months to introduce new parts was one of these changes. So until today we couldn’t order any of the parts from the January 2023 wave of sets.

It’s still far from complete, but a few hundred parts have now been added including animals like ‘Grumpy Cat‘ from Friends and the Otter from City, prints from the Jazz Club modular and many more are now available.

If past experiences are a good indication, some of these parts are likely to sell out fast, taking a few weeks for them to be restocked. Also, delivery times for standard PaB parts are already a month. With the many orders that can be expected with the new parts, some patience might be required until orders arrive.

You can find the online PAB here: https://www.lego.com/en-gb/pick-and-build/pick-a-brick

Are you ordering any of these new parts? What are your favourites from these new additions? Share your thoughts in the comments.
