The first ever sets to come out of the theme were the LEGO Flower Bouquet and the LEGO Bonsai Tree. There have been many more since, with no signs of stopping, but what would you like to see become a future set?

We’ve had so many Flowers and Plants turned into LEGO sets, including Succulents, Bonsai, Orchid, Bird of paradise, Flower Bouquet, Wildflower bouquet, Tulips, Roses, Sunflowers, Daffodils and Lotus flowers. There are of course so many more varieties and species yet to be presented in brick form, which leads me to today’s question, Which Flower Or Plant Would You Like To See Next From LEGO?

For me personally I’d love to see a Sunflower, I’m not talking a small one stood in a vase, but an almost life-sized one. Ok maybe I’m dreaming aittle but how would would that be and extremely impressive. I’m also open to a large Venus Fly Trap too, complete with small brick-built Flies. Check out the compete range of LEGO Botanical sets here.

Which Tie-in LEGO Gift With Purchase Of 2024 Is your Favourite?! https://www.thebrickpost.com/blog/which-tie-in-lego-gift-with-purchase-of-2024-is-your-favourite/ https://www.thebrickpost.com/blog/which-tie-in-lego-gift-with-purchase-of-2024-is-your-favourite/#respond Fri, 25 Oct 2024 12:24:45 +0000 https://www.thebrickpost.com/?p=43364 LEGO gift with purchases are a staple in the brick world, fans often choose to make a purchase purely on how good the current GWP is. From a business point of view it’s nothing short of genius, making an exclusive freebie so sought-after you have to make a purchase just to get it.

The FOMO (fear of missing out) effect is real and often gets wallets and bank accounts screaming out in pain. I myself have felt the full force of FOMO, in my early collecting days, especially when a tie-in set is on the cards. With the bigger sets, like Barad-dûr, Jabba’s Sail Barge and the upcoming Ideas Botanical Gardens sets, the tie-in gifts are usually extremely exclusive and very sought-after, making the fear of missing out that much more. If you’re buying the set in question anyway then it’s a win win.

What do I mean by tie-in sets? Well, take the LEGO Barad-dûr set for example, the very impressive set launched with a gift with purchase build that ties into the theme and is only available when purchasing the larger set. These promotions happen more frequent than you might think, this year we’ve had six already with one on the way. It got me thinking, Which Tie-in GWP set is your favourite of 2024 and why? Share your choice below in the comments section and head over to our Instagram channel to join in with the discussion.

LEGO Issues Statement Regarding Recent Building Instructions Survey! https://www.thebrickpost.com/news/lego-issues-statement-regarding-recent-building-instructions-survey/ https://www.thebrickpost.com/news/lego-issues-statement-regarding-recent-building-instructions-survey/#respond Fri, 20 Sep 2024 14:34:25 +0000 https://www.thebrickpost.com/?p=42274 Earlier this week LEGO asked select Insiders members to complete a survey regarding building instructions, today LEGO issue an official statement!

A recent survey from LEGO has sparked a debate amongst fans regarding physical and digital building instructions. It has since been removed, but hinted towards the LEGO Group replacing paper manuals with digital ones.

As many of us know, digital instructions are already available to download for pretty much all LEGO sets. Finding, downloading and opening these files is still a slow process and not as easy or user-friendly as opening the provided physical booklet. In short the LEGO Group have no current plans to phase out the beloved paper building instructions.

LEGO has provided an official statement, which you can read in full below.

“We would like to reassure fans that we have no plans to stop using physical building instructions in our products.

We conducted this survey to understand more about our adult fans’ preferences regarding our products and building experience, something we do regularly across a range of topics.

We would like to thank our LEGO® Insiders members who took the time to respond to the survey – your feedback is important to us and helps us make our LEGO experiences even better.”

Buildable LEGO Star Wars Characters – Who Next? https://www.thebrickpost.com/blog/buildable-lego-star-wars-characters-who-next/ https://www.thebrickpost.com/blog/buildable-lego-star-wars-characters-who-next/#respond Fri, 02 Aug 2024 09:56:31 +0000 https://www.thebrickpost.com/?p=40778 There have been many buildable LEGO characters over the years, some we should never speak of – especially the ones from 2015 to 2017. In recent months we’ve had some great new additions in the form of Chewbacca, R2-D2 and now C-3PO.

A couple of friends are big Star Wars fans and between them have built most of the themed LEGO sets. They often express how good some of the offerings are and constantly say how many more characters could be produced. It got me thinking about this week’s question, who else from the Star Wars universe should LEGO make as a buildable figure?

What Other Sets & Minifigures Would You Like To See From LEGO Fortnite? https://www.thebrickpost.com/blog/what-other-sets-minifigures-would-you-like-to-see-from-lego-fortnite/ https://www.thebrickpost.com/blog/what-other-sets-minifigures-would-you-like-to-see-from-lego-fortnite/#respond Mon, 29 Jul 2024 12:37:18 +0000 https://www.thebrickpost.com/?p=40629 Fortnite has taken the world by storm, from its open access release back in 2017, right up to present day with the latest season. There have been many changes and additions during that time and even more Styles (skins), LEGO Fortnite was a big occasion and introduced a new world to explore and build within.

Whilst playing a game or two of Duo (teams) with my Son, it opened my eyes to what other LEGO sets could be made that would not only look good on display but also offer up a new form of play through the humble LEGO brick. The new theme and along with it 4 sets, will be dropping 1st October, check them out here in all their glory.

This week’s question maybe best suited to veterans of the game, but is of course open to all. What other Fortnite awesomeness would you like to see LEGO make? Comment below or why not join in the discussion over on our Instagram channel?

Which Character Should Be A LEGO BrickHeadz Set? https://www.thebrickpost.com/blog/which-character-should-be-a-lego-brickheadz-set/ https://www.thebrickpost.com/blog/which-character-should-be-a-lego-brickheadz-set/#comments Mon, 15 Jul 2024 16:24:46 +0000 https://www.thebrickpost.com/?p=40217 LEGO BrickHeadz started back in 2016, the first ever set was based on Batman, since then well over 200 have joined the lineup, including Iron Man, Harry Potter, Back To The Future, Avatar, Ghostbusters, Jurassic Park and so many more.

The sheer amount of them is incredible and seeing some fans’ collections is definitely a ‘wow’ moment. Making space for them is one thing but keeping up with their release is another, of course over the years they have slowed down somewhat and there was even news of the theme being discontinued at one point. But thankfully the affordable and humble Brickheadz are still going today, with a brand new Batman 8-in-1 set coming soon.

As usual this got me thinking and I found myself imagining other characters that could be turned into BrickHeadz, so my question to you today is, Which character would you like to see as a future LEGO BrickHeadz set? Leave your comments below.

Which Horizon Zero Dawn/Forbidden West Machines Would You Like To See From LEGO? https://www.thebrickpost.com/blog/which-horizon-zero-dawn-forbidden-west-machines-would-you-like-to-see-from-lego/ https://www.thebrickpost.com/blog/which-horizon-zero-dawn-forbidden-west-machines-would-you-like-to-see-from-lego/#respond Tue, 09 Jul 2024 13:58:47 +0000 https://www.thebrickpost.com/?p=40074 With LEGO Horizon Adventures on the way and the original two games being hugely popular, we pose a very important question to the LEGO community, which Machines would you like to see as a LEGO set?

Two years about we were graced with the LEGO Tallneck (76989), a set based on one of the Machines from the game that you could climb, hack and unveil more of the games map. With many dotted around the game as strategic locations, it was a great choice to make this into a LEGO set. Of course there are other awesome Machines to choose from, including the Watcher, which I guess you could argus has already been done in brick form thanks to the very small model of it in the Tallneck set. I personally would love a larger-scale Watcher to add to my collection.

Below are a handpicked bunch of Machines that are seen in the game quite early on, there are a ton of others that are available to choose from here. So, pop on your thinking caps and tell us which Machine would you like to see from LEGO next?

Which Villain Would You Like To See As A LEGO Minifigure?  https://www.thebrickpost.com/blog/which-villain-would-you-like-to-see-as-a-lego-minifigure/ https://www.thebrickpost.com/blog/which-villain-would-you-like-to-see-as-a-lego-minifigure/#respond Sat, 15 Jun 2024 15:44:02 +0000 https://www.thebrickpost.com/?p=39348 With the recent release of LEGO Lord Of The Rings Barad-dûr (10333) set and with it the Sauron Minifigure, it got me thinking of other villains that LEGO could immortalise in plastic.

The list is ever expanding with Minifigures, but rarely do we get ‘bad guys‘. With the likes of  Maleficent, Jafar and other Disney villains, Sauron and his henchmen, Lord Voldemort, the Joker, Thanos and others, there are so many more that could be represented in the LEGO world, but who? Without any limits, from horror movies and games to books and comics, which villain would you like to see as a LEGO Minifigure?

Which LEGO Bus Is The Best? https://www.thebrickpost.com/blog/which-lego-bus-is-the-best/ https://www.thebrickpost.com/blog/which-lego-bus-is-the-best/#respond Fri, 07 Jun 2024 15:46:18 +0000 https://www.thebrickpost.com/?p=39164 A brand new LEGO Bus pulled into the station 1st June and it got me thinking of previous outings of the bus variety. we look back through the years at a select handful of sets from the early days of simple but classic designs to the funky Space-themed sets from LEGO Friends and beyond.

The buses below are handpicked from Brickset and put into a handy grid to enjoy. Set numbers and names have been left off so it’s down to just visuals I’m afraid. The earliest dates back to 1966 right up to present day with the brand new LEGO City Red Double-Decker Sightseeing Bus (60407). Click here to read our steller review.

Fans and owners of LEGO Cityscapes love a good bus, but which one is best? Comment below or why not join in with the discussion on Instagram?

What Is The Most Valuable Minifigure In Your Collection? https://www.thebrickpost.com/afol-tips/what-is-the-most-valuable-minifigure-in-your-collection/ https://www.thebrickpost.com/afol-tips/what-is-the-most-valuable-minifigure-in-your-collection/#comments Wed, 08 May 2024 15:07:06 +0000 https://www.thebrickpost.com/?p=38200 LEGO Minifigures come in most sets, from City and Ninjago to Star Wars and more. Some are generic and not worth much, but there are several that are rare, sought-after or have a manufacturing error which in turn hike their price up, particularly on the secondary market!

One of the most notable entries on the list of the Worlds most valuable Minifigure is of course ‘Mr Gold‘. For starters he was limited to just 5000 globally, to add to this he could only be found in Series 10 of the Collectible Minifigures line of sets. This combination has made ‘Mr Gold‘ a collectors dream, which for most it will stay, a dream.

For me personally I sadly don’t have any extremely valuable Minifigures in my collection, there might be one or two that are worth more but overall they’re most likely £10 tops. There is one that comes to mind but he has seen recent dips in price, Deadpool. I paid almost £20 for him a few years ago, which back then I thought was rather a lot.

My question for you today is, What’s the most valuable Minifigure in your collection?
