The toy retailer Smyths Toys Superstores are once again hosting The Big LEGO Toy Event where free LEGO Polybag sets will be available to collect. Taking place Saturday, 26th October, from 9am (store opening time) in all UK based stores.

The LEGO Polybags available to choose from comprise of LEGO DREAMZzz, LEGO City, LEGO Friends, LEGO Speed Champions and LEGO Despicable Me 4. As usual it’s limited to one set per customer and is geared more towards kids.

The LEGO City truck set is exclusive to the UK retailer, when buying the set from a physical store you’ll get the unique sticker pack, it features store branding which can be placed onto the brick-built truck. ASDA ran a similar promotion a while ago with the LEGO City Grocery Store (60347), which was hugely popular. the free Smyths Sticker Pack features the stickers needed to transform the truck into a Smyths Toys Superstores branded one and is only currently available in stores, check where your nearest store is located here.

On Saturday 13th July, visitors to participating stores will get the chance to build a selection of LEGO Space themed Minibuilds including brick-built Planets, Aliens and Spaceships. Once built you can then take them home with you completely free of charge. The event start at 9am when doors open and are on a first-come first-served basis and whilst stocks last.

Head to Smyths Toys Superstores today (13th April) to make and take one of three mini LEGO sets, these include Animal Crossing, Friends and Harry Potter. All UK stores will be participating in the LEGO Make & Take event, remember that it is usually for Children and limited to one free set each. The event starts when doors open at 9am.

You can also bag the same three builds at selected Hamleys stores, also sharing today (13th April) from 11am.

Official LEGO stores are also giving away a free LEGO Friends polybag set. Pop into your local store on April 13th between 10am and 12pm or 14th between 12pm and 2pm, where a free LEGO Friends Mobile Music Trailer (30658) polybag set will be waiting for you, whilst stocks last of course.

Please check woth your local stores before heading out, to avoid disappointment. Times and stock quantities may vary from store to store.

To bag yourself a cool Z-Blob plushie all you have to do is pop into your local Smyths Toys Superstore and purchase a LEGO DreamZzz set. Unfortunately they don’t stock the entire range of sets buso the cheapest way to get the plush toy is by purchasing the Z-Blob Robot set.

Please do check stock levels online before heading in, there’s nothing worse than making a special trip, although the store itself is great fun to explore. Currently the promotion is available to UK and Ireland.

Stores across the UK will be hosting the event along with showcasing some of the new LEGO DreamZzz. Visitors to event will bag themselves a cool minibuild to take home with them. Unfortunately there’s no indication of what set will be on offer for free but we speculate either the LEGO DreamZzz Mini Turtle Make Van (previously seen at LEGO stores) or the LEGO DreamZzz Z-Blob And Bunchu Spider Escape (30636).

The LEGO DreamZzz Make & Take event will be held on 19th August  between 10am and 4pm or until stocks last. More details can be found here.

LEGO® Fans get ready for The Big LEGO® Weekender! It is that time of year again! We have LEGO® giveaways at your local Smyths Toys Superstore, Saturday 29th April from 9am – while stocks last. In celebration of the brand new generation of LEGO Friends including the sets and TV show, Smyths Toys will be hosting a LEGO Friends themed in-store building event. Sadly we don’t yet know what the build will be, usually a LEGO Polybag of some sort, although it could also be a unique Mini-build. Along with the free LEGO treat there will also be a showcase of the new LEGO Friends sets, giving you a taster of what it’s all about.

The LEGO Friends Make & Take event will start at 9am on 18th February, are on a first-come-first-served basis and whilst stocks last. Watch this space for more details and freebie reveal.

Smyths Toys are back with another freebie for their half-term party. As with the previous event a couple of weeks ago it is limited to their UK stores. We speculate the free LEGO Jurassic World set will be the Polybag once again as it seemed to be so popular first time round. No purchase is necessary, simply pop into your local store in 28th May. 

The London Westfield based event features a whole ton of LEGO DOTS and will be the first of its kind. The #YouDotYou event let fans get creative and make their mark on a massive LEGO message board. Also you can explore a DOTS themed bedroom and get crafty and make your own DOTS creations at the LEGO DOTS Creation Station.
