The magazine itself follows suit with all its predecessors, with a ton of puzzles and activities, such as dice based games, mazes and word games, there’s even a design your own Spider-Man character page. These are great fun for the intended younger fans, offering up a fun yet somewhat educational experience.

The double-sided poster as usual features great artwork and worthy of hanging onto for LEGO room decoration. Also the Comic-strip stories are great fun to read especially with young fans, they often feature characters that are included as freebies with each magazine Issue, this time around we get a Venomised Green Goblin Minifigure and his Glider.

The torso features an awesome mashup of designs, as you can imagine being Venomised means being taken over by Venom and the black goo. It’s a fun character to portray in LEGO form as it has only appeared in one other set previous to this one, LEGO Spider-Man Race Car & Venom Green Goblin Set (76279). The arms are different colours, one is green and the other is black. Sadly the legs are plain, perhaps including Venomised legs would have been better, making this Mini truly unique and exclusive. There is a dual printed head, one half Venomised and the other half Green Goblin, the second face is fully Venomised.

The Green Goblin’s Glider has also be half assimilated by Venom and it looks so cool. This build is totally exclusive to the Magazine, although we’ve seen it before, here only half has been Venomised.

Below are a handful of pages to showcase what these style of publications offer.

The torso features a simple yet awesome design that, sadly the legs and arms are plain and lack any printing, which is a shame. This also isn’t an exclusive Minifigure as there have been 4 other sets that contain this particular Minifigure, including the massive and very expensive Daily Bugle (76178) set, making this a great way to obtain the Minifigure for your collection at a fraction of the price.

The magazine itself follows suit with all its predecessors, with a ton of puzzles and activities, such as dice based games, mazes and word games. These are great fun for the intended younger fans, offering up a fun yet somewhat educational experience.

Also the Comic-strip stories are great fun to read especially with young fans, they often feature characters that are included as freebies with each magazine Issue, this time around we get Green Goblin and his cool Glider.

The torso features a nice design of tatty & torn clothing, very reminiscent of the character. The legs are unfortunately plain purple and void of any prints at all, which is a shame as for Minifigure collectors this would have been very sought-after. The hat & ear mould makes a nice comeback here and one I’m happy about, this is a Minifigure I have yet to add to my personal collection, until now of course.

BrickLink listing

Sadly this isn’t an exclusive Minifigure as you can grab it in the LEGO Spider-Man & Green Goblin Mech Battle (76219) set, although for considerably more money. The price of £4.75 for this magazine makes this Minifigure very affordable compared, one to definitely pickup if you can.

We also get a brick-built Glider, it features some nice parts that will no doubt go into my spares for future MOCs. The ‘wings‘ can be are a nice element not usually seen in this colour so that’s a part to get excited about. It’s a fun little build and a welcomed addition to the LEGO Spider-Man collection.

Below are a handful of pages to showcase what these style of publications offer, also a better look at the Minifigure and vehicle included:

We’ve had these Minifigure before when I came in a LEGO Marvel Mech set, but that doesn’t make it any less special. LEGO Marvel Spider-Man Magazine Issue 2 – Out Now! https://www.thebrickpost.com/reviews/lego-marvel-spider-man-magazine-issue-2-out-now/ https://www.thebrickpost.com/reviews/lego-marvel-spider-man-magazine-issue-2-out-now/#respond Thu, 05 Jan 2023 09:30:16 +0000 https://www.thebrickpost.com/?p=23925 The latest issue (2) of the new LEGO Spider-Man Magazine is here and with it an amazing Minifigure!

The magazine itself follows suit with all its predecessors, with a ton of puzzles and activities, such as dice based games and mazes. These are great fun for the intended younger fans, offering up a fun yet somewhat educational experience.

A fun addition to this magazine, and others in the LEGO family, are the comic book stories, usually centred around the character that comes bundled to the front cover. Obviously Spider-Man is going to be the main guy and rightly so, it’s his magazine after all. But the story usually centres on the character that comes with the issue, in this case its Carnage.

What I particularly like most about the comics is the art, there are some truly astounding set pieces to see and bring alive when reading the captivating storylines. The one pictured below really caught my attention, I’m a sucker for bright colours and cool Superheroes.

It even tells you all about the many Spider-Man varients, including where they live and what they like to do, kind of like a basic encyclopedia. The many powers they possess are listed too, from wallcrawling and swinging to Spidey-sense.

What I like most about these Magazines as an AFOL, after the Minifigure of course, is the double sided poster. The art work is usually stunning and well worth keeping. My plan is to one day have a LEGO room where I can showcase some of them, which I now haveany of, probably 10s if not 100s!

The main draw for the magazine is the included Minifigure, which is Carnage

The design and printing is done to the high standard we all know and love from LEGO, it even comes with leg prints.

If you like Carnage and don’t yet have this Minifigure then grab this issue now, it’s a must get. The characternisnt as well known as Spider-Man but don’t let that put you off, he is a villain not to be messed with, especially with his tentacle-like appendages.

Thank you for reading this LEGO Spider-Man Magazine Issue 2 rundown, we hope you manage to find one in your local Newsagent or Supermarket. Unfortunately these Magazines are still not available in the US and other regions, currently UK and Europe are the only places lucky enough to get them.

If you’ve made it this far here is a sneaky peek at the Minifigure available in Issue 3.

Review: LEGO Spider-Man Magazine Issue 1 https://www.thebrickpost.com/reviews/review-lego-spider-man-magazine-issue-1/ https://www.thebrickpost.com/reviews/review-lego-spider-man-magazine-issue-1/#respond Wed, 14 Sep 2022 19:04:31 +0000 https://www.thebrickpost.com/?p=21357 This week marks the release of LEGO Spider-Man’s very own magazine, filled with puzzles, activities, and a very cool Minifigure!

This isn’t the first, second, or even third, time we’ve had Spider-Man appear in a LEGO magazine, so sadly there is nothing exclusive to report, but it’s the future that holds all the excitement. What will this run of magazines offer us over the coming months/years?

The magazine itself follows suit with all its predecessors, with a ton of puzzles and activities, such as dice based games and mazes. These are great fun for the intended younger fans, offering up a fun yet somewhat educational experience.

A fun addition to this magazine, and others in the LEGO family, are the comic book stories, usually centred around the character that comes bundled to the front cover. Obviously Spider-Man is going to be the main guy and rightly so, it’s his magazine after all.

It even tells you all about Spider-Man himself, including where he lives and what he likes to do. Theany powers he possesses are listed in the adjacent page, from wallcrawling and swinging to his iconic Spidey-sense. Spider-Man has also done some research on Venom and included what he’s dug up so far.

What I like most about these Magazines as an AFOL, after the Minifigure of course, is the double sided poster. The art work is usually stunning and well worth keeping. My plan is to one day have a LEGO room where I can showcase some of them, which I now haveany of, probably 10s if not 100s!

The main draw for the magazine is the included Minifigure, which is of, yep you guessed it, Spider-Man.

We can’t see to get away from this friendly neighbourhood superhero, as we add yet another one to the collection. Sadly he’s not exclusive to the magazine and if you were lucky enough to pickup a resent Spider-Man set you’ll most likely have him already, as he comes in several.

The design and printing is done to the high standard we all know and love from LEGO, it even comes with arm prints.

If you like Spider-Man and don’t have this Minifigure then grab this issue now, it’s a must get!

Thank you for reading this LEGO Spider-Man Magazine rundown, we hope you manage to find one in your local Newsagent or Supermarket. Unfortunately these Magazines are still not available in the US and other regions, currently UK and Europe are the only places lucky enough to get them.

If you’ve made it this far here is a sneaky peek at the Minifigure available in Issue 2, and the Minifigure available in the next LEGO Avengers Magazine.
