The various LEGO games from TT Games have been added to the PlayStation subscription service over the years and the latest game is finally here, completing the lineup. From 6th August, PS+ members will have access to the latest LEGO Star Wars game for both PlayStation 4 & PlayStation 5 and free to all tiers, Essential, Extra and Premium.

Thats not all, depending on which subscription tier you are on, you can also enjoy many other LEGO titles for free.

Warner Bros. Games, TT Games, The LEGO Group and Lucasfilm Games today announced the all-new LEGO® Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Galactic Edition, the most expansive LEGO Star Wars game with all nine Skywalker saga films and thirteen playable character packs spanning the galaxy. The game will be available digitally for the Xbox One family of devices including Xbox Series X, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Nintendo Switch system for $79.99 (SRP), physically for $59.99 in EMEA, and for PC at $69.99 (SRP) on Nov. 1, 2022.

The Galactic Edition will include six new packs in the Character Collection 2, Star Wars: Andor, the LEGO Star Wars: Summer Vacation TV Special, Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi, Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett, Star Wars: Rebels, and Star Wars: The Clone Wars adding more than thirty playable characters. Plus, the seven packs from the original Character Collection, The Mandalorian Season 1, Solo: A Star Wars Story, The Classic Characters, The Trooper Pack, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, The Mandalorian Season 2, and The Bad Batch. Players that purchase the game digitally can also unlock the Classic Obi-Wan Kenobi playable character that is not available for purchase à la carte.

A Character Collection 1 & 2 bundle will be available for $24.99 or can be purchased separately for $14.99 each. Individual character packs will also be available à la carte for $2.99.

During the many panels/talks that are held there will surprisingly be one for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga video game. We’re not entirely sure why there is a panel for a game that came out awhile ago but nevertheless it should be a good one to attend. Perhaps there are plans for more DLC or other content, who knows. 

If you plan on attending you can use the ‘Reservation Random Selection Process’ to try and secure a spot for the panel. This closes 19th August at 12pm PT.

Unfortunately D23 2022 has completely sold out now but you can tune into livestreams on 9th September.

We already heard rumblings surrounding this DLC a while back but now we know exactly what and who to expect in the packs which release at different intervals, like Seasons.

Games, TT Games, the LEGO Group and Lucasfilm Games today revealed details of the LEGO® Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Character Collection (Season Pass), which contains seven downloadable content (DLC) packs with playable characters from across the galaxy including many from outside the nine saga films.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will release on April 5th, 2022 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One consoles, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC, in what will be the biggest and most visually striking LEGO Star Wars game yet.

At launch, The Mandalorian Season 1 and the Solo: A Star Wars Story Character Packs will be available for purchasers of the Character Collection or via standalone purchase. The Mandalorian Season 1 Character Pack will include the Mandalorian and non-playable Grogu, Greef Karga, Cara Dune, IG-11 and Kuiil, and the Solo: A Star Wars Story character pack will include young Han Solo, young Chewbacca, young Lando Calrissian, Qi’ra, Tobias Beckett and Enfys Nest.

Also available at launch will be The Classic Characters and The Trooper Pack. The Classic Characters Pack will include Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Darth Vader and Lando Calrissian. The Classic Characters Pack will be available for those who have early access from select retail partners and will be available for everyone on April 19th who purchases the Character Collection or via standalone purchase. The Trooper Pack includes Death Trooper, Incinerator Trooper, Range Trooper, Imperial Shore Trooper and Mimban Stormtrooper. The Trooper Pack will be available in early access for consumers who pre-ordered the digital version of the game, and available on May 4th for everyone who purchases the Character Collection or via standalone purchase.

On April 19th, the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Character Pack will be available for purchase and will include Jyn Erso, Bodhi Rook, Cassian Andor, K-2SO, Chirrut Îmwe, Baze Malbu and Director Krennic. On May 4th, Star Wars Day, The Mandalorian Season 2 and Star Wars: The Bad Batch Character Packs will be available. The Mandalorian Season 2 Character Pack will include Ahsoka Tano, Boba Fett, Bo Katan, Fennec Shand and Moff Gideon. Star Wars: The Bad Batch Character Pack will include Hunter, Wrecker, Tech, Crosshair, and Echo.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is available now for digital pre-order. Consumers that digitally pre-order the game will also unlock the Classic Obi-Wan Kenobi playable character that is exclusive to digital purchasers. The physical version of the Deluxe Edition will include an exclusive LEGO Star Wars minifigure, Luke Skywalker with Blue Milk mustache.

The pack will contain fan favourites from across the entire Star Wars Galaxy such as The Mandalorian Season 1 & 2, The Bad Batch, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Solo: A Star Wars Story, as well as Classic characters and Trooper Pack.

The new insert shows three of these characters: Din Djarin & Grogu, Jyn Erso, and Hunter.

Again the release ia still yet to be released but a leak on the Microsoft Store suggests a date of 5th April 2022, but this is of course still speculation so watch this space!
