The set is celebrates the 20th anniversary of The Clone Wars and includes a pretty sizable build, 5,374 pieces, of the Venator-class Republic Attack Cruiser. It also comes with Minifigures of Captain Rex and Admiral Yuralen.

THE LEGO GROUP CELEBRATES 20 YEARS OF CLONE WARS WITH THE NEW UCS STAR WARS VENATOR-CLASS REPUBLIC ATTACK CRUISER BUILDING SET

Today the LEGO Group unveils its latest fan requested set – the LEGO® Star Wars Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser building set, in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Clone Wars.

This highly detailed and impressive 5,374 piece LEGO set is the first Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series building set inspired by the Venator-class Star Destroyer and is the first Clone Wars building set to join the range. The vessel is used extensively by the Republic during the Clone Wars, serving both as a starfighter and troop transporter and is the perfect nostalgic addition to any Star Wars collection.

Designed to be displayed, the set comes with a plaque and a built-in stand plus a command-bridge and hangar containing a Republic Gunship. Builders can also place the Captain Rex and Admiral Yuralen minifigures from LEGO® on the in-built stand. An info plaque and a brick celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Clone Wars complete a truly spectacular centerpiece.

The set is now available to  everyone and not just VIP members. Although signing up to the program is free and super beneficial as there are tons of promotions and goodies available to members, also collecting and spending points helps save pennies.

The set is based on one of the most iconic ships from Star Wars the X-wing. It will consist of 1,949 pieces and releasing 1st May for VIPs. The price isn’t too bad compared to previous UCS sets, coming in at £209.99 ($239.99/€239.99/369.99 AUD/319.99 CAD).

As fans know this isn’t the first time we’ve had an X-wing as a UCS set, but this new one is by far the most detailed. If you’re lucky enough to be attending the Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 this weekend you’ll get to see it in person!

Join the Rebel Alliance’s Red Squadron with the new LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series X-wing Starfighter Building Set

The next LEGO set in the Ultimate Collector Series celebrates one of the most iconic Star Wars ships Billund, April 5th, 2023: The LEGO Group today announced the new Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series X-wing Starfighter building set. Based on the iconic T-65 X-wing Starfighter from the Star Wars saga, the new 1,949 piece LEGO Star Wars set is highly detailed and includes the Incom 4L4 fusil thrust engines and the Taim & Bak KX9 laser cannons.

The X-wing Starfighter was designed by the Incom Corporation for use by the Rebel Alliance in long missions and dog fights. First seen in Star Wars: A New Hope, the X-wings were manned by elite pilots in the Rebel Alliance – including Luke Skywalker. In the same film, the Rebel Alliance deployed the X-wings in the Battle of Yavin, where Luke joins the Red and Gold Squadrons as call-sign Red Five, alongside Biggs and Porkins, in an attempt to destroy the Empire’s Death Star.

In one of cinema’s most iconic scenes, the battle ends with a tense moment between Luke and Darth Vader in the Death Star trench – where Luke has one chance to fire his seemingly impossible shot into the exhaust port that is “not much bigger than 2 metres”, and destroy the Empire’s ultimate weapon.

At over 55cm / 21.5” long, the new LEGO Star Wars X-wing Starfighter set is the perfect addition to the Ultimate Collector Series, joining the AT-AT, Millennium Falcon, Razorcrest and Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder building sets. Once complete, fans can display the X-wing model with either the wings open or closed. Plus, it comes complete with Luke Skywalker and R2-D2 astromech droid minifigures, and a display plaque with technical details about the X-wing.

“Whilst this is not the first time we have brought the X-wing Starfighter to brick life, this is the most detailed and I am so excited with the final design. It is such an iconic ship, by designing at this new larger scale we were able to include more specific details such as the thrusters, the cockpit and the wings. We are so excited to now share this with fans.” said Henrik Andersen, LEGO Design Master.

The new LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series X-wing Starfighter set will be available from 1st May for LEGO VIP members exclusively on LEGO.com/star-wars and in LEGO Stores priced at €/$239.99 £209.99 and for everyone from 4th May. But fans won’t have to wait that long to get up close to the new set – as it will be on display exclusively at the forthcoming Star Wars Celebration event in London from 7th – 10th April 2023, at the LEGO booth. In addition, Celebration attendees will be able to get their hands on the new LEGO Star Wars Brickheadz Battle of Endor building set (40623) which features Luke Skywalker, R2-D2, Lando Calrissian, an Ewok and Princess Leia-inspired LEGO Star Wars Minifigures, before it is available anywhere else. Plus, stay tuned for more exciting LEGO Star Wars announcements at the event.

The latest addition to the Ultimate Collectors Series is the LEGO Star Wars UCS The Razor Crest (75331) and is available from today, it goes on general release on 7th October.

The other set to be released for VIPs is the LEGO Winter Village Collection Holiday Main Street (10308), again this set is available from today and also goes on general release 7th October.

X-34 Landspeeders were typical civilian transports, designed to withstand the roughest terrains. The Landspeeder was first seen in Star Wars: A New Hope, where Luke used the vehicle extensively as part of his farm work, travelling across Tatooine’s harsh deserts. Accompanied by C-3PO, Luke used the Landspeeder to locate R2-D2, when he was discovered by Obi-Wan Kenobi. It was also the vehicle they were travelling in when Obi-Wan used a Jedi mind trick to get past stormtroopers guarding entry into Mos Eisley. Eventually Luke sold the Landspeeder to pay for his transport to the planet Alderaan.

The LEGO Star Wars Luke Skywalker Landspeeder building set is 49 centimetres long when complete and features the two-seater cockpit, the turbine engine without a cover, the iconic curved cockpit windscreen plus an exclusive C-3PO minifigure (with 2K moulded legs and a side print) and Luke minifigure – complete with lightsaber.
