Since its rebranding last year, the Insiders Reward Centre has seen little to no changes. But upon my weekly perusal I noticed a ‘new’ section entitled ‘LEGO Sets‘. The sets found inside aren’t anything new but LEGO have now made it easier to find all the physical brick sets that can be redeemed with your Insiders points. These include the exclusive Mini Ninjago City sets and ‘Bricktober’ rides along with a selection of polybags. Also within this new section it introduces a revamped redemption process, making it a little easier to use.

These bags all center around a theme. This time it’s wintertime fun, so there’s minifigure accesoires for this theme a plenty.

This is such a good pack! Including extra’s for small parts there’s 157 parts included. I’m a fan of Sand Green and Olive Green for vegetation, which takes up quite a lot of the parts in here.

There’s the paint rollers, radar dishes and Trans-Yellow heads for making lanterns, parts for a BBQ and sausages to grill on it. A guitar for getting around the campfire and sing Wonderwall (or just Christmas carols), white round bricks and bars to roast marshmallows and so much more to post your minifigs, for instance for a (festive) sigfigscene. These polybags seem to have a certain standard composition. Animals are present in most (if not all) of them. And here there’s a Dark Orange squirrel included.

But like I already suggested, the vegetation included is especially exceptional. The Olive Green pine trees have only been in one set before and the Sand Green limb elements are relatively new so it’s a great pick to have a few included.

If you have the opportunity to pick this polybag up with your LEGO shopping I’d definitely recommend it! It’s a great way to expand your part collection with some very useful and sometimes rare parts.

The newest items currently available for LEGO Insiders members are two cool looking pieces of apparel, a cross-body bag and foldable backpack. They feature very similar designs of a Minifigure blueprint but that is where the similarities end, as one can be neatly tucked away into a smaller bag, whilst the other one seems more robust.

Unfortunately we don’t have any information where and how these will be available but images have been revealed of another baseball cap, that features interchangeable LEGO brand patches and loops for your favourite Minfigures, along with a new backpack and a LEGO DreamZzz bundle which includes a foldable backpack, shopping bags, plush toys, keychains and stationery.

Launching on the 21st August, LEGO Insiders will replace the previous LEGO VIP membership program, but also brings all LEGO accounts (for over 18s) into one place. In June we saw the LEGO Space Adventure Ride set released via the VIP Rewards Centre, with the last one joining the platform soon. But after week’s of waiting we finally know a date, so get your 2400 VIP points ready as from the 16th August you can redeem them for the LEGO Fantasy Adventure Ride.

Unfortunately the exact timing it will available has yet to be confirmed. Watch this space though as we’ll keep you up-to-date.
