I have recently binged five whole seasons of it thanks to Netflix adding it to their lineup.

It’s a fun and family oriented show, so what better way to commemorate a fantastic program than to have an official LEGO made?!

Oskar2814 has done just that and submitted an idea to Ideas.lego.com.

The idea features the main cast from the show and their three abodes.

The Minifigures:

Each one of the Minifigures looks like their onscreen counterpart, from the style of their hair and the choice of their attire to the Easter egg accessories.

Oskar2814 has done a great job in producing the eleven characters and you can instantly recognise them, if you’ve seen the show before of course.

Phil has his destintive thick eyebrows and signature sweater, whilst Manny can be see looking very dapper as he usually does.

The eleven characters are:

  • Phil Dunphy
  • Claire Dunphy
  • Haley Dunphy
  • Alex Dunphy
  • Luke Dunphy
  • Jay Pritchet
  • Gloria Delgado
  • Manny Delgado
  • Mitchell Pritchet
  • Cameron Tucker
  • Lily Tucker

The Houses:

What can I say, each families home looks amazing and with so much detail too. This is exactly what LEGO need to bring to the modular scene, a series of suburban residential-esque buildings.

These would fit into most City or Townscapes and not look out of place. The architecture looks amazing and the creator has implemented some nice techniques here, with inset windows and entrance with porch area to the odd angles and bay windows.

I love the colour palette used here as it is vibrant and clean. The Dunphy house uses Sand Green as its main colour with white trim and black roofing.

The Pritchet house is a modern, glass fronted building with bright white walls. It also has a Palm tree out front which really finishes it well.

The Pritchet/Tucker house has to be my favourite in terms of build, the oddly angled walls and centre column really add depth and a new perspective to constructing with LEGO.

Each house is open at the back which allows for that playability factor. Details and Easter eggs fill every room and you can see the now iconic room sets where each episode takes place!

Overall the creator, Oskar2814, has done extremely well and produced a LEGO Ideas set I would buy in an instant.

Good luck with gathering support and we hope to see your idea come to life!
