There is also a brand new Dark Green Brick Costume to pickup and add to the collection!

The new BaM characters hit many stores 1st November 2024 and are available in most regions Worldwide. They come with a nice mix of festive prints, parts and accessories that many LEGO fans will be eager to get their hands on. Take a look at them below, along with a breakdown of what to look for whilst building your Minifigures.

A massive thank you to LEGO_BaM on Instagram for supplying the images, we personally couldn’t get to a LEGO store this time.

  • Santa hat, classic red colour
  • White beard & moustache
  • Traditional Santa torso with white seams and black belt
  • Dual moulded legs (Red/Yellow)
  • Christmas surfboard

I can personally see them all being quite popular, especially the the new Brick Costume in that new dark green colour. As with all things LEGO, nothing is set in stone, all the parts above can be swapped for entirely different bits. Genders can be switched, colour combinations can be whatever you make them, and accessories can be random. Remember to have fun and enjoy your LEGO experience.

If you like the look of these characters they are available now at most LEGO stores BaM Stations, although I would recommend phoning ahead to confirm before heading in, even getting a pack or two put by for you to avoid disappointment. You can either make them yourself or some stores conveniently bundle them into pre-made packs and are located near the till area.

Will you be grabbing these Minifigures or picking & choosing random ones? Let us know in the comments below. Thanks again to LEGO_BaM on Instagram for sending the images, it’s truly appreciated.

New Figs On The Block: Winter & Christmas BaM! https://www.thebrickpost.com/news/new-figs-on-the-block-winter-christmas-bam/ https://www.thebrickpost.com/news/new-figs-on-the-block-winter-christmas-bam/#respond Thu, 17 Nov 2022 11:42:07 +0000 https://www.thebrickpost.com/?p=22686 The BaM (build a minifigure) station is fast becoming the place to grab new and exciting LEGO characters and on quite a regular basis too!

The last lot that were available focused on Halloween and included a Day of the Dead character, a spooky Scarecrow, a Witch, and a boy dressed in a Bat costume.

Thankfully my local store isn’t too far and I can pop in a few times during the month to check if new parts have been added, also joining several LEGO related Facebook Groups does help with keeping up-to-date with what is available. The new Christmas 2022 BaM (build a minifigure) have been released and are available in most stores Worldwide – Here is a closer look at them:

As a whole the selection of characters is quite random, with no real theme, other than Christmas, running through them. We have Mrs Claus, a Gingerbread Woman, and a Boy.

LEGO have released a few Gingerbread people over the years so having another one to add to the collection is nice, however this one has been seen once before, in the Gingerbread House (10267) from 2019, which has since been discontinued making the Minifigure extremely sought-after until now.

She features an entirely Gingerbread themed head, torso, and legs, even her skirt has the same design, making the whole Minifigure look very Christmassy indeed. She comes with a giant Donut tile which has been seen in the Police Station modular and some City sets.

It wouldn’t be a Christmas BaM without some sort of Santa Minifigure, this year we get his better half, Mrs Claus!

She has been seen many times before and in a handful of sets, sadly she isn’t an exclusive Minifigure, but when the chance arises who is going to say no to adding another to the collection?

With her red outfit complete with white fluffy trim, the character portrays Mrs Claus well. The included white hair piece finishes her off along with the Pretzel accessory element, we all know what the Claus’ have for breakfast, yummy treats and Pretzels.

Last but not least we have the young Boy Minifigure, which you may think is the weakest character of the bunch, but you’d be wrong, he comes with a very smart Christmas jumper. I’ve not personally seen this design before so it could well be an exclusive, which makes it very sought-after to Minifigure collectors, me included.

He so comes bundled with a white Guitar, the accessory itself has only been seen in a handful of sets, most recently the Winter Village Collection Holiday Main Street (10308) set. I myself have a small collection of those Guitars but won’t say no to another one, these are essentially good for MOC (my own creation) makers.

If you like the look of these characters they are available now at most Certified LEGO Stores, although I would recommend phoning ahead to confirm before heading in and even getting a pack put by for you to avoid disappointment. You can either make them yourself or some stores conveniently bundle them into packs for you and are often located near the till area.

New Figs On The Block: Sleepy Girl, Scout Boy And Carpenter (Geppetto)! https://www.thebrickpost.com/news/new-figs-on-the-block-sleepy-girl-scout-boy-and-carpenter-geppetto/ https://www.thebrickpost.com/news/new-figs-on-the-block-sleepy-girl-scout-boy-and-carpenter-geppetto/#respond Sun, 18 Sep 2022 12:39:52 +0000 https://www.thebrickpost.com/?p=21467 The BaM (build a minifigure) station is fast becoming the place to grab new and exciting LEGO characters and on quite a regular basis too!

The Halloween themed Minifigures are still in most LEGO Stores but before them the last lot that were available featured a new ragtag crew of Cowboys & Cowgirls, and strangely an updated version of Captain Red Beard (Pirate). Before them we were graced with a new Knight torso, Wizard, and Queen, which makes for a great addition to the recently released LEGO Lion Knights Castle (10305).

As you can see from the image above you get some fun Minifigures and cool accessories, which include A Scout Boy, Sleepy Girl, and one I call Geppetto as he looks exactly like the character from Pinocchio. These all come with nice torso prints, heads, hats/hair pieces, and accessories.

Scout Boy:

Starting off with the Scout Boy Minifigure, you can see that the torso has a brand new design and print. The sash is covered in badges that the Scout has acquired for his many good deeds, there is also a Red scarf around his neck.

The backwards cap and hair combo is taken from LEGO Hidden Side, it works extremely well on this younger Boy character and one you should definitely keep as part of the Minifigure. He also comes with a very apt accessory, a Magnifying Glass. It maybe very stereotypical but the accessory suits this character well.

Sleepy Girl:

The Sleepy Minifigure is very cute especially with the accompanying accessory, a Rabbit Teddy bear.

The torso is a new printed Pyjama top on a Light Aqua coloured element, with matching trouser bottoms. The Minifigure as a whole looks great and one I’m happy to add to the collection. There is another facial expression on the back, which is a generic happy face with eyes open.

Her hair piece is the icing on the cake and makes the character complete.

Carpenter (Geppetto):

The Carpenter, as I’ve dubbed him, is in his work overalls, ready for a day’s work, along with his trustee Bulldog sidekick.

His torso is the only printed part of this body, the top of the dungarees, unfortunately the legs are plain dark brown. He also only comes with one facial expression and isn’t double-sided.

I think this Minifigure looks a lot like Geppetto from Disney’s Pinocchio movie, especially the original animated version. Do you agree?

Of course being LEGO they can be mixed-up to create different characters entirely, changing the gender is just the start, from Scout Boy to Girl, and Sleepy Girl to Sleepy Boy.

These Minifigures are now available from the Build A Minifigure Stations in most LEGO Stores, we would love to see the characters you come up with, please share them on social media and tag us, we’ll like and comment on them all. Also please let us know in the comments what you think of these new Minifigures and whether you collect them or not, we love hearing from you.

Before them we were graced with a new Knight torso, Wizard, and Queen, which makes for a great addition to the recently released LEGO Lion Knights Castle (10305).

A massive thank you is in order to our good friend @brickmcbricksworth, who recently picked up and took photos of the new Halloween characters that have started hitting stores. They feature a Potions Witch, Day of the Dead style/Corpse Bride, and a Bat-Boy Vigilante.

As you can see from the image above you get some fun Minifigures and cool accessories, which include Lavender coloured Wings, Witches torso and matching skirt and the Day of the Dead style head piece.

The Bat-Boy Minifigure, as we call him, makes good use of the masked head piece which also has an alternate face.

The Day of the Dead style female Minifigure features a female version of the Mariachi torso that we got at the start of the year. A perfect combo I must say!

The printing of her head piece is fantastic and really suits the Minifigure well. Of you’re a LEGO Harry Potter fan you’ll notice the hair piece, yep that’s right, it’s taken from Bellatrix Lestrange, which is somewhat rare amongst collectors.

The Witch Minifigure comes complete with a plain black hat and red/ginger hair, a spooky torso & skirt combo and a purple potion bottle. I particularly like the almost shiny silver detailing on the Spider’s Web on both the torso & skirt, combined with the purple and black it really is a cool but scary looking Witch

If you like the look of these characters they’re available now at most Certified LEGO Stores, although I would recommend phoning ahead to confirm before heading in and even getting a pack put by for you to avoid disappointment.

Let us know in the comments what you think of these new Minifigures and whether you collect them or not, we love hearing from you.

We were lucky enough to grab these and the new Valentine’s Day characters that have recently started hitting stores. They feature a dark pink Bear, Fairy girl, and Chick.

As you can see from the image above you get some fun Minifigures and cool accessories. Take the new wing piece for example, the shape is new and unique to the BaM and has yet to be seen in a set. Don’t get me started on the hot pink Bear, it is so cool and adds to the whole Bear lineup which there are already a few of, including a Panda.
